I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I did answer this on 01/05. The deck is repaired. I don't feel DeGeorge is taking responsibility that the windows were installed incorrectly. DeGeorge wants to come out to repair the windows after it was brought to their attention why the windows were leaking. Why wasn't this done when I called about the windows? I did order new windows, trying to get the problem resolved. I shouldn't have the problems I had, the windows are only five (5) years old. I feel DeGeorge should either pay half of the new windows or some type of reimbursement on the windows they installedRegards, *** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  The deck has been repaired.  Besides being at the house, a few times to look at the windows, no solution was offered for the windows.  When brought up to a De George employee what the problem was, he had to agree that the windows were installed incorrectly, causing the problem.  Tom's last visit, in the Fall, just offered to replace the trim on the window from the water, with a service call.  The windows are only five years old.  The business where De George purchased the windows went out of business.  I would like to be compensated for 1/2 the cost of the new windows, which is $1,750.00.  Regards,  [redacted]

Revdex.com spoke to Tom at business and the following was relayed: We did go out to repair the deck on Wednesday, December 23rd. The deck is fixed. Our foreman did go out to look at the windows. The consumer has already had another contractor order the windows before having us look at the issue. The issues...

with the windows can be repaired without replacing the windows by redoing something different on the exterior and then reinstalling the current windows. We are willing to do that for the customer.
