We will be ordering another door to get Mr [redacted] taken care of as soon as possibleIf Mr [redacted] is looking for a replacement he will need to contact his builderThe microwave was delivered in a box and left on siteIf the microwave was damaged, Fred's Appliance should have been contacted so we could have made an exchange right awayIn this case, the microwave was installed damaged or was damaged during the installationFred's appliance was contacted days after installation to order a new door, which we have done multiple timesI don't understand why the last door was denied considering it was inspected by our parts employee and our warehouse managerWe even used this door on another jobThat customer couldn't find anything wrong with it either Thank you, Steve E***

Fred’s Appliance does not manufacture appliances or does any other dealerAny dispute on a machine after they have been installed and used is between the manufacture and the consumer, not Fred’s ApplianceI personally talked to the [redacted] months back and offer them any washer and dryer at my costI also offered to deliver them at no charge, which is a miles round trip to our closest locationThese machines are years outside of the manufactures warrantyAt this time I would recommend them to contact the manufacture and file a complaint with them Thank you, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have received the repaired washer and it seems to be working properly and according to specificationsHowever, for the record, I would like to clarify certain claims in the response from Fred's Appliance(1) I have attached the diagnostic report I created and attached to the washer when it was picked up for repairNOTE: a single set of sheets and pillow cases (queen size) does not constitute "overloading" a high capacity washer(2) [redacted] provided the washer pan that I am required to have in my condo complex as I am on the second floor [redacted] lived up to their "part of the contract" , by giving me my money back(3) The washer exhibited balance problems from the very first use (refer to attached)And it is likely that failure resulted from a combination if washer defects and installation errors Sincerely, [redacted]

The customer needs to go online to [redacted] and register the applianceThey only send one copy with the refrigerator and I cannot duplicate itThis is very simple thing to do and it's the responsibility of the customer to register their appliance

Fred's appliance did not hand out personal info to another customerThe customer that came into our store already had all of Mrs [redacted] info, Phone number, address EctI have already contacted the customer regarding the issue and Mr [redacted] understood the entire situation Thank you Steve E***

Good Afternoon Revdex.com,Thank you for forwarding this complaint to us.I have reviewed all records associated with this service event and personally spoken to both technicians involved. We received a dispatch for a [redacted] dishwasher on 01/04/with a complaint of not cleaning the top rack On 01/06/we reported to the home We found a broken chopper blade in the sump assembly Our technician used a shop vacuum to remove water from the unit, laid a towel on the floor to collect a small amount of residual water while removing the sump assembly Following, our technician replaced the sump assembly The technician then ran the unit through diagnostics mode All operations tested correctly. On 01/08/we received a call from the customer stating the unit was leaking and caused floor damage A second technician reported to the home on 01/08/ We documented floor damage and noted what appeared to be soapy water on the floor Technician ran the unit on wash twice No leaking was found. We wish to be fair in handling this claim, but based on the surrounding facts and all evidence available at this time, we are unable to conclude liability for this floor damage claim The unit was left in good working order by the first technician and the second technician was unable to find the source of the leak.At this time, we advise that the customer contact his home owner's insurance to file a claim. If I may be of further assistance regarding this concern, please feel free to reach out to me.Best Regards,Adam B [redacted] Fred's Appliance, LLCVice [email protected]

We will be order a new door and contacting the customer todayThis is a cosmetic defect that can be fixed by replacement of the door Thank you, Steve E***

To all concerned, I did receive a letter from [redacted] at the end of September and thought that this was resolved after I sent the letter and pictures to the Manager who oversees deliveries and handles damage claims Unfortunately, this didn’t get handled in a timely mannerI contacted the customer via email today, November 4th, and offered to credit the delivery charge back to the customer as well as get some toupaint to her per her request The customer has our sincere apologies, and we will make sure this is fully resolved Sincerely, [redacted] Manager, Fred’s Appliance CDA

I am not aware of any damaged itemI would be more than happy to take care of any damage for you This complaint was about an install fee done by a third party company, NOT Fred's Appliance As your receipt stats, it's a delivery fee, not an installation feeAgain please feel free to contact me 509--328-EX *** and I would like to get the damaged item addressed asap Thank you Steve

Fred's Appliance had been in contact with this customer to have any performance issues with the new laundry set checked out by an authorized GE service companyJohnson's Appliance Service (406.363.3592) had scheduled to service the appliance, but has now rescheduled for 6/21/As a reseller, the manufacturer's warranty limits what we are allowed to do when something doesn't work perfectly out of the boxIn most cases, they require that an item be serviced at no expense to the customer, which is the case with the GE washer and dryerThis is why the Return Policy on our orders "Due to manufacturers policies, Freds Appliance does not allow returnsAll defects will be fixed per manufacturers specifications"If we don't follow the GE policy, they won't pay for us to have these units repaired, nor will they offer any warranty for us to resell the unitIf for some reason the units can not be repaired, we will work with GE to replace them or issue a refundBut the first step is to have the authorized service company assess the unitsPlease allow the diagnostic service from Johnson's Appliance Service to start this processWe can then work with GE to come up with a plan of action to make sure that the units work properly

Freds argues that they INFORMED me there would be additional charges from their vendor for installation -- NOT TRUE Furthermore, Freds knows perfectly well that this vendor makes the EXACT charge to their competitors, YET my invoice (provided to Freds) shows the TOTAL cost of appliances INCLUDING installation Freds was supposed to give a competitive bid & knew they were competing with this competitor In fact, Freds shoiuld have explained (in my response to the salesmaan) that Freds bid/estimate was NOT $(as I stated/supposed), but was, in fact $higher (due to the vendors installation fee ON TOP) Freds know this business well/or shoiuld! As a consumer, I do not I relied upon the salesmans representation that they would meet or beat ANY competitors price Fredis still has not been able to replace a damaged appliance (after attempt to deliver another damaged product) Freds offer to return the merchandise for a refund, REQUIRES I deliver the products or pay them to pick them up!!!

Hello Revdex.com,Thank you for forwarding this complaint While I understand the frustration this customer experienced with our company, the warranty was clearly disclosed on our last visit 6/30/ I would suspect the confusion internally came from our warranty being year on parts
normally In this case, the customer elected to install, which we do not honor a year warranty when customer elects to install parts themselves. The invoice clearly states no warranty if customer elects to install Please see attached.I hope this clears up any confusion Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.Best Regards,Adam ButcherVice President

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Fred's Appliance made NO MENTION of this warranty being invalid The regrigerator stopped working when we moved into our house September 17th We had no knowledge of the install being done by the previous owner and a copy of the invoice was sent to my email I asked if the inverter was under warranty and they said that all parts have a year warranty I should have been told LAST WEEK that the part was NOT under warranty They were inept and negligent about telling me that their part was not under warranty due to a different install. The issue I have is that I ONLY WAITED for Fred's Appliance to install the part - FOR OVER A WEEK - because I was TOLD BY THEM that it was under warranty!!!!!!!! Jenn Aire got involved and set up an appointment time since this company is one of in the area that is approved by the Jenn Aire company AND held the warranty on the part I WOULD HAVE NEVER WAITED THIS LONG FOR A REFRIGERATOR REPAIR IF I HAD BEEN INSTRUCTED BY JENN AIRE AND FRED'S APPLIANCE ABOUT THE YEAR WARRANTY BEING INVALID Fred's Appliance messed up, did not have their facts straigh and waited TOO LONG to come up with this information If they had any customer relations they would deliver the part free of charge and install it!

Hello Revdex.com,Thank you for the forwarded complaint.I have reviewed the records again I greatly apologize for the confusion As previously stated, it is outside of the norm that we do not have a year warranty on parts, that's what led to the confusion. The invoice that was supplied in the previous response clearly states no warranty on the part as the customer elected to install. If customer agrees to pay our service call and labor charge to install, we will make an exception and supply the part at no charge. Please let me know if customer accepts, and we will get the ball rolling on finishing this repair.Best Regards,Adam ButcherFred's Appliance, LLCVice President
