I was to send Fred's collision my address for payment, [redacted] ***

The vehicle was not taking apart prior to going to Fred's, the estimate was done, no one said there would be more charges, and it does not state that anywhere on the original estimateThe price was $and I would get the parts, which is what happened.*** ** *** **Delivered the airbag, hood, and fender two weeks before the date to drop off the vehicleThere was no discussion about the airbag at allI never said anything about the airbag not being put in the vehicle at all, I wanted the airbag to be put back in, that is my life behind that wheel, that's why I ordered the airbag right off the bat with the partsWeeks before it went to Fred's it was orderedso that's not trueI was told by ***, that her brother tried to put the airbag in , so she put him on the phone when I called because the airbag was sticking out of the steering wheel, the brother told me he was not certified in putting in airbags, and did not no anything about them, and I also asked him why he played with all my fuses, he had no comment, every fuse was put in wrong places and missing, this vehicle was perfect except for the hood and fender, motor wise was perfect before going thereI was driving daily for two weeks, nothing wrong, when I picked it up, the domer light inside the vehicle was on all night, I had to disconnect the battery, found out the next day all the fuses were messed up, got them all fixed to the Manuel from ***, there was no horn, someone cut the wire to the horn, which there was a horn before going there, *** ** *** *** charged me $t fix the airbag and horn, I went the next day, and had to drop it off the following Monday as they were busy, they gave me a letter stating everything was done wrong, I had no alarm, which worked before going to Fred's, nothing wrong with it, all of a sudden the alarm module had a screw put threw it and a screw through the he wire, it was not done by fog lights, as the foglights were put in 12/2014, there was nothing wrong with the alarm for months, now that it went to Fred's no alarm, That cost $109.44, which I had to pay againThis repair has cost me so much money, things that had nothing wrong got damaged, and every time I called there was yelling match, and the phone would go from one person to the next, and nothing would get solvedthe clock spring was defective, they brought another one to ***, but did not return my labor money I gave them ,as the airbag was put in wrong, so I paid twiceI paid $for fuses, no one had any excuse why the fuses were messed with, what does that have to do with a hood and fender? The alarm was put on the day the vehicle was dropped off, nothing wrong with it at allI want the money from ***, *** *** alarms, and the fuses back, that is $ 339.44, the only thing I got out of this whole mess is the paint job was good, looks good, that's itI just finally have my truck all setIt was from one place to another getting straightened out after leaving Fred's

After thinking this over, I think that giving you back $to get this over and done with would be the best thing to do at this pointTrying to reason with you is not going to happenWe did not touch your fuses and my brother never even touched your airbag, Fred worked on your car the whole timeYou are totally lying about coming here with the car put together the first time (it was disassembled and this can confirmed by no less than people) , and the discussion we first had about the airbagsSo please just take this money and good riddance! I just need your address to send it to you

This in response to the *** *** *** *** *** *** The customers had brought the truck to us for an estimate somewhat disassembled (by another shop) prior to booking an appointment with us for the repairsThey stated that they wanted an estimate for labor only as they had purchased
their own partsI gave them a estimate based on what we could see only, and I did discuss (as I do with every customer that comes through the door) that any additional/hidden damage, parts, or labor are extraI also explained that they would need to purchase a replacement drivers airbag, module, and clockspring for the safety and ability to get a sticker on the vehicleThey debated with us about if they really needed the airbag, clockspring, and moduleAn appointment was made for August 10, and when the truck was dropped off, we went through all the parts that came in with itMissing were the airbag, including the clockspring, and module, and some wrong parts including two right headlampsAlso the addition of a front bull bar was added by the customer (about an hour worth of labor to install)During the disassembly process it was discovered that the headlamp mounting panel was damaged, as was the radiator support and the very end of the frame Also the used fender they bought also had damage on it that need to be repairedThe old bumper is needed during the repair process, in order to reuse the hardware on the new bumper and to avoid purchasing a new hardware kit from *** (for over $100)I called the customer right off the bat and explained everything to them, including costThey had the option to take the car back, as we had just finished complete disassemblyShe told me they could not get the old bumper back from the previous shop for whatever reason, so we spent some time trying to locate different hardware for them to avoid buying the expensive kit from *** She said it was okay to order a headlamp and she would get the airbag etc A few days later an airbag arrived (missing module)I called again explained the parts we were missingThen a module showed upI ordered a clockspring after okay from the customerThe customer provided airbag was put in correctly, however the clockspring that was supplied to us by ***, was defective, after we discussed this with the customers mechanicWe delivered to their mechanic a replacement clockspring, no problem we would definitely back that upAs for the fuses, never at anytime would there be a need for us to touch the fuse box, replace fuses, or remove fusesWe deny this completely Concerning the horn, when they picked the truck up we mentioned that the horn was not working and a mechanic should take a look at it when it is taken to get the airbag programmed/ light put outCustomer told us that the state police cut the horn, because it wouldn't shut off after the accidentI called *** *** ** *** *** and spoke with the ownerHe said that the 8mm screw that was put through the door lock wires on the lower left side of the steering column was most likely from the installation of aftermarket foglampsWe would have no reason to do this, it is not located anywhere near the airbag (nor would you have to drill a screw through anything surrounding the installation of the airbag as everything is a replacement plug in type)Concerning the front bumper, I only charged them to put on the bumper, upon installation it did appear to look too small on the vehicle, in comparison to the *** bumper, it was adjusted the best it could beThe frame was never pulled on the frame machine at all, we simply repaired a small bend in the edge of the frame horn, the frame was never off, so the bumper is lined up as it should beAftermarket parts poorly made, not purchased by us Concerning the overspray, we apply a overspray soap film on every car that we paintThis film protects the car from overspray and washes off like a soapIf it by chance got overspray after applying soap film and then a car cover on top of that, I would be happy to use some soap and clay to get it off for them(Also should note that the truck had a recent whole car paint job from another shop, with minimal masking) Upon completion of the job and when they came to pick up the truck customer remarked about how great the paint looked and what a great job we did! They did call back to yell and accuse us of messing with their fuse box and alarmWe will gladly warranty anything that we repaired/replaced on the vehicle such as we did with the bad clockspring from ***, but unrelated items and unreasonable demands we will not
