I think I sent the last email a minute too soon, because I just talked to *** *** on the phone about the job we did at his property on *** ***. We talked at length about the work that Fred’s has done for him over the years. He mentioned he’s always been happy with the quality
of our work. I assured him that at Fred’s, whenever a customer has a complaint, we want to make sure that they are satisfied, and that whatever the customer wanted as resolution is fair in our eyes. Obviously if someone is totally unreasonable we would have to take a different approach, but Mr*** is reasonable, and fair. So the resolution of accepting the $is totally fair as far as Fred’s is concerned. As for detailing our cost breakdown, we talked for a while about backhoe rental, labor hours, number of guys on site, set up time, contacting diggers hotline etc. I feel like we reached a common ground as to how things are priced for this type of job. As an added benefit to the customer, we offered him a free pumper next fall when his tank will come due for service. Sincerely,*** ***Fred’s Sanitary Service

I couldn’t be more apologetic. This was billed in error. I don’t remember the follow up calls that were made disputing this part of the invoice, but the jetter portion of the bill should never have been added to the invoice. We have credited $in our internal system.
I’m not trying to make excuses, but I did notice that this was the Wednesday right before Thanksgiving. We had some temp office staff taking care of the phones that day, and the Friday after thanksgiving.
