I am rejecting this response because:  I indicated in the first "response" and Mr. [redacted] indicated in his own admittance, that "I " the customer made several telephonic calls in an effort to contact him. Mr. [redacted] also indicated he was busy and was unable to return to my residence.; therefore, the discrepancies regarding the residue and ( two pieces split) wood were never resolved. I believe it is standard procedure that contractors guarantee their work for at least one year, and I would think Mr. [redacted] would honor his work and (Freddie [redacted] Woodwork, LLC) business.
I have made my plea. In both rejection response, I have identified that Mr. [redacted] did not honored his contract and work; furthermore, this debate is redundant.

I am rejecting this response because: Prior to the initial complaint, I made several telephonic calls and left voice messages in an effort to contact Mr. [redacted]. Furthermore, I left several messages over a period of 6 weeks (7 July to 11 August 2014). I honesty believe that I (customer) have been very patient; allowing Mr. [redacted] and I every opportunity to collectively resolve the repair issues.  As indicated in my initial complaint, Mr. [redacted] came to my residence on 3 July 2014. During that time, I explained to him that I was in my yard, ( a few month after exterior work  was completed) when I observed the whitish residue surrounding the structure of my home and (two pieces) the  split wood near the chimney area. The structural build of my home has a high roof; which was an unintentional oversight during the initial inspection. The discrepancies regarding the residue and (the two pieces) split) wood were  addressed when Mr. [redacted] came to my home on 3 July 2014; therefore, I believe it is his responsible as part of the contractual agreement to complete the repairs.
First of all, I believed it is standard that a contractor guarantee his work for at least one year; furthermore, I would think Mr. [redacted] would honor his work and (Freddie [redacted] Woodwork, LLC) business for at least one year.
Secondly, in Mr. [redacted]'s defense, he indicated that he was busy and in his own admittance stated that I (customer) called several times. Eventually, I concluded that Mr. [redacted] was avoiding me or extremely busy. Nevertheless, after numerous attempts to contact him in an effort to resolve the matter. To no avail.
At this point, I have to hire another contractor to pressure wash my home and repair the  two pieces of split wood near the chimney area. For this reason,
I am requesting $500. 00

Customer's statement was pretty accurate regarding the contract which she signed. Upon completion...

of worked to be done per contract, customer and
I walked around her house twice to make sure she was satisfied and that everything had been done. This was done prior to customer making final payment.
During the walk around the house (twice) she stated that two (2) small areas on rear of house on overhang needed paint touch up. Touch up was done.
Customer was concerned about paint on knob of screen door and a window on front of house. The paint was there before I started the job of which I informed
customer. But the paint was removed. All was well. Received final payment (February 7, 2014).
The house was pressured washed, all rotten wood was removed and replaced, the housed was , primed and painted (contract).
House was caulked where needed, also
caulked around all windows and doors, pressured washed driveway and bricks on both side of drive way and pressured washed patio, which was discussed on phone.
(not a part of the contract) All of this was done at no charge.

Rotten wood was put on side of road to be collected by trash collector. Customer called and stated that this would not be removed, I returned and removed trash.
I received another called regarding white residue on one side of house near chimney at the base of the painted wood (I am not sure how long it had been after completion of work).
Returned to see what was happening. Residue was not visible to me, customer pointed out residue on bottom edge of wood where siding lapped. I wiped area with my hand and
it was pollen. Explained to her that it was pollen. Customer stated that it was not on the rest of her house, told her that the majority of trees was on this side of the house, also stated
to her that it wasn't the paint, because if it was , it would be on entire house. We walked back to front of house, there was no residue. There was no discussion about any split wood.
I did tell customer that I would come back and wash that area of her house. Stated to her , that she did not have to be at home.
I did go back to her house, I must be honest, I don't know what date it was. Her water hose was not long enough for me wash area.

Customer did call several times, it was not my intentions not to go back again to wash that area of her house, but I was busy and I just didn't get there.
I understand that customer might be upset and i'm sorry this happen, but I do not know why she thinks I should pay her $500.00 because I honored my contract and more.
If customer found split wood after 4 or 5 months I am not responsible for that. What ever repairs she said she had done, could not have had anything to do with the contract she signed
