My number one goal is to assist my patients in a journey of great dental care which in return will assist them in their overall health My staff goes to great lengths to send courtesy reminders to everyone who has an upcoming appointment, if they are not able to connect via phone they will send an email or text Because I have this courtesy reminder policy in my office along with printed out notifications of what to do and the time needed to change any scheduled appointment at all work stations we rarely ever have to charge a broken appointment feeCharging a patient broken appointment fees usually only happens if its multiple hours as this complaint was a total of hours My office has postings notifying all patients of our broken or cancelation less than hours’ policy No we do not have a message on our machine that says this service will not accept cancellations we find that to be offensive and harsh to New Patients and patients calling with other needsIf you are reading this response note, I would ask you to give my office a call or stop in to visit our office and Wellness center where we aim to make our patients health and dental needs our number one concern Sincerely, Frederick Dreher DDS PC

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The bill for $refers to a broken appointment of 08/01/ Please have the office resend the proper bill which reflects the exact date of service and the balanceUpon review, any balance owed will be paid promptlyThank you*
*** *** Consumer provided Revdex.com with copy of signed HIPPA release

Mr *** was seen in the office for an initial visit the cost was $532.00 He purchased and in office savings plan for $that included everything that was done at his initial visit so we wrote off $the only fee he owed was the $plus he gets to keeps what ever *** his
insurance plan sends him. Mr*** also applied in the office for Care Credit to help with a month interest free payment plan to make it more convenient for him to have the work done. After spending a total of hours for in the office between initial visit and working out treatment scheduling and financial arrangements the office understood Mr*** as very HAPPY! NO complaints at all about hygienist and Lori Ann until he went for 2nd opinion to a Participating *** provider and relized it would be much more cost affective for him to see *** PPO. The number of phone calls to the office became harassing then he started sending emails. He cancelled his CC payment of $495.0 because he only wanted the office to accept what *** paid for. Lori Ann explained we do not par with *** that we didn't add back into the account the discounts he receieved from signing up for all the financial things he did at intitial visit. The threats he made when calling the office and then sending email stating he would slander unless we accepted his payment of $was disturbing. We ask at this time that he please forward his payment of $we are willing to write the rest off to put this issue to rest

It is really with great sadness that [redacted] is now refusing to Pay a balance due for services rendered.  All missed appointment fees have been adjusted off.  Due to HIPPA I will not be able to discuss her outstanding bill for services rendered in a forum like this. She can call my office.

send an email or text.   Because I have this courtesy reminder policy in my office along with printed out notifications of what to do and the time needed to change any scheduled appointment at all work stations we rarely ever have to charge a broken appointment fee. Charging a patient broken appointment fees usually only happens if its multiple hours as this complaint was a total of 4 hours.  My office has postings notifying all patients of our broken or cancelation less than 48 hours’ policy.   No we do not have a message on our machine that says this service will not accept cancellations we find that to be offensive and harsh to New Patients and patients calling with other needs. If you are reading this response note, I would ask you to give my office a call or stop in to visit our office and Wellness center where we aim to make our patients health and dental needs our number one concern.  Sincerely, Frederick Dreher DDS PC
