We purchased a piece of furniture July 8 to be delivered in September. When we called 2nd week of September to ask when the item would be delivered, a salesman called later, left a message that our hutch was being shipped on Monday of next week.
The next Thursday I called to see if the item was now in store and repeated what the phone message had said. The employee informed me that "no one would leave that message" as the item can't be expected before 10 - 12 weeks. It was now 10 weeks after the order was made.
Later when I talked to the salesman who left the message, I was told "NO, I didn't say Monday, I said sometime this week it would be shipped and that it was now in transit."

"We will be in touch when the item arrives." was the salesman's final statement. In other words, don't call again.
For a company that would probably like repeat business, their customer relations leave much to be desired. Speaking respectfully to your customers is essential. Saying "No" to me when I have your phone message on my machine and talking condescendingly is totally inappropriate at any time. I would not buy from this company again.
Purchased 4 pcs of a bedroom suite from Aubrey D collection at a cost of $2437.58. After delivery on April 29th when dusting the furniture after the delivery men left I noticesd that the one dresser had an unfinished ledge on the bottom and when dusting the cloth stuck to it like sandpaper. That same day I went into the store and spoke to the owner who was very rude and stated that what I purchased was not a top of the line model and I should expect to have flaws. EXCUSE me but I just spent my good money and EXPECT to have a good quality piece of furniture similar to that displayed in the store delivered to me.
One of the employees took a copy of my invoice and said that they would have someone come out to look at it. It has been almost a month and have heard nothing back from them!
Based on the comments posted on other complaints I do not expect a positive outcome or one at all. Instead of owning up to the issues identified the owner just deflects the issue back on the customer
