***,I am addressing *** in this response because I have never communicated with ***, who sent the complaint in.I, again, am truly sorry that my son was sick and I had to rescheduleOf course I feel awful, as a mother I know how precious these memories are and they slip away too
quickly. With that being said, I never said I couldn’t capture those memories, I most certainly had availability to capture this time in his life, I just wasn’t able to reschedule them for the days you requested before his birthdayYes, Saturday I stated I was unavailable- that’s as much detail as I gave so I'm not sure where the “kept stating she couldn’t do Saturday before his birthday because she had other shoots” came fromI was actually out of town that day for a prior engagement- nothing work relatedI know you mentioned I should of made it work for a client who booked months in advance, I book 2-months in advance for all my clientsTo have “found a way to schedule people who book months early” I would have had to cancel another client (which would start the cancelling/angry client train)I'm sure you can understand that. In your complaint you stated my “communication was slow”, I have regularly and almost exclusively replied within hours with the exception of weekends/holidays (if there were any in there)I don’t feel I need to address this further as theres nothing to say. You requested a refund on Tuesday 1/9/at 7:20pm (in which I replied minutes later) and stated that I would process the refund but it could take a few days, sometimes quicker(Square states it can take up to business days- a few days on my banks end and a few on the clients end- which is also a very typical card refund length)I processed the refund at 7:43pm on Tuesday 1/9/(which wouldn’t be processed until the start of business day on Wednesday)My account stated pending until Friday 1/12/at 10:23am when it processed and removed the money from my account and sent it to your bank (exactly days after I processed- as stated)From there it is completely out of my hands and its on to your bankI wish I could help you out in that area but unfortunately I can’tI’m upset that you are making it out to be that I haven’t refunded you when I refunded you immediately and showed proof several days before this review was posted. I am hurt by the fact that you say I show no concernI had repeated time and time again how truly, deeply, sorry I amI even offered to help find another photographer who might be able to do them on a quick notice and help us out. Again, while I understand being upset I most certainly could of still photographed your son to capture this time in his life, I just wasn’t able to do it and return the photos before his birthday party- which yes, I agreed to in November, however, as a parent I think you understand that we have no clue when mishaps like our kids being in the hospital are going to arise. I processed the refund, I even have checked in every few days to see if you received itI hope you still choose to document your son at this moment in this life, its precious and goes so fast!
