Fred's Mexican Cafe

Review: We had a party of 8 and only 3 had arrived on time. A small table was given and the waitress was aware more people were on their way. The rest of us had shown up and there weren't any large tables available so we sat at 2 separate small tables diagnal from each other. As we saw a large party leaving we asked the waitress if we could be seated at the larger table. She gladly obliged and no more than 5 minutes after the hostess comes to our table questioning who sat us there or did we move there on our own. We told her our waitress sat us. Rather than asking her waitress any questions she continues to say we can't sit there and we have to move back to our tables. I told her to talk to our waitress and she says the manager says we have to go back to where we were sitting. Yet, the manager never came out to talk to us. Had I wanted to continue to spend money here I would have taken it further. Our waitress apologized and didn't understand the problem as that table was also part of her area. This being a birthday gathering put a damper on the birthday girls spirit. I am completely shocked at the customer service and the way the hostess spoke to us.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate a refund on the drinks and appetizers we had ordered and DID pay for. And perhaps training on how to deal with the public for the hostesses.
