Review: Fred gave my husband an estimate on pruning three large trees. He came back to talk to me concerning the pruning. Many years ago my

husband had a tree PRUNED". NOT. The tree was TOPPED.

Since then I asked to speak to anyone pruning our trees.

Fred assured me that he was an arborist and he would not TOP!!!

our trees. Before he came to do work, my husband added one more small tree to be pruned, a pine type fir tree to be cut down, and trim a tree in my neighbor's yard that had some branches hanging in our

driveway. Total cost $2200. Fred agreed to have amt. paid in 2 pay-

ments.

Monday August 1st Fred's crew came. Fred was not ever on site!!!

The guy doing the work from a bucket when I came outside, I was

horrified to see that he had TOPPED and MUTILATED one large

River Burch & was in the process of doing the same to the second

River Burch. He had also hacked off some branches on my neighbor's

tree. Seeing I was a bit hysterical, he lowered his bucket & came over

to talk to me. I told him that I had spoken to Fred and he knew I did not want the trees topped. I asked who was the arborist. He stated that

he was & that he was told by Fred to do what he did. He called Fred

& gave the phone to me. I reiterated our conservation concerning the

pruning & NO!!!!!! TOPPING. Fred said that when he spoke to my

husband concerning the additional work, my husband told him to

top trees.

My husband denies that he said any such thing.

I tend to believe him! After the reaction I had to the tree TOPPING a

few years ago I am certain he would not have told him to TOP the.

trees.

I told my husband I would not pay Fred until he saw how his "arborist"

had mutilated my trees.

My husband had already sent him a check for $1100.

I called Wednesday August 3rd @ 8:30 AM, left message on answer

machine, to have someone call me. @ 9:30 AM I called again.

I asked the secretary to have Fred call me about my mutilated

trees. I did not hear from him.

Thurs. August 4th 11:30 AM, left message on machine, " I would like

Fred to come to my house and see the result of his "arborist's

work. I did not hear from him!!!

Fri. August 5th. 1:10 PM. No answer

2:02 PM. Left another message. I did not hear

I have taken pictures of the disasters.

Fred is inaccurate in his statement. Fred was contacted by my husband while I was away. No work was to be done until I personally spoke to Fred @ my house upon my return. That occurred. I told him I did not want the trees topped. His response. " I do not top trees"!!! He also told me that he was an arborist!!!!My husband was not satisfied with the butchering of our trees. My daughter was horrified with the job. Fred was never on site when the work was being done. I had an actual arborist look at our trees after the butchering. He said it would take -at least five years if at all to do crown restoration. He also said that they took so much off the trees they may go into shock. Fred's men used a bucket. My arborist climbs the trees. He furthermore stated that he has had many complaints about Fred. A friend of mine also had a bad experiencewith Fred. They also left rubber marks about 4 feet long in my driveway. Many large branches hanging from the tree, whitchhave since fallen. I have pictures of everything including the butchered trees. My husband is unfortunately not able to complain.is peace at all costs!!!

Review: I met with the owner this Spring and we agreed on a price for several services on my property, including removal of a dead tree and mulching. The crew arrived and started work around 1:00PM. At around 4:30, the head of the crew told me they were almost done. I noticed several yards of mulch left on the truck and the crew chief told me they used less than 3 yards for my yard. The owner felt it would take closer to 8 yards, so I called to tell him about the discrepancy, since he never inspected the work. He insisted they used 8 yards and did not offer to inspect or come off of our agreed price. It is now July and many of the areas that were mulched in the Spring are already bare and weeds are popping up. This company did a very poor job and basically did a two day job in 4 hours. All aspects of the work performed were poor and the agreed price of $2600,00 should have been $1000.00 less. We will never use this company again.Desired Settlement: This company should come out and re-mulch our yard and actually use around 6 yards of mulch, not the 3 that were used in the Spring.
