on, the tenant requested we come out and light the furnace. This is typically a simple procedure. In this case, furnace would light and we had to schedule a HVAC company to come out and diagnose the problem. The problem was diagnosed by the HVAC company as a problem with the circuit board. We had to contact the owner, inform hem, and then schedule a complete replacement of the furnace. We felt that this was the best long term solution. The HVAC company has already scheduled to come out to the apartment to replace the furnace on Wednesday 11/8/117.Tenant must recognize the fact that gas must be on for heating to work, that when there is an issue we must first diagnose the problem and then schedule a repair. There is a process to follow.
