I feel Grange raised my insurance and then canceled me because I made a claimMrC [redacted] has been very patient with my questionsI read his response but feel they are bogusI have attached photos of the said tree limbs hanging over the propertyI was only able to attach so I will have to send the next laterMrC [redacted] said they raised my insurance due to no fire hydrant within feetI live in a rural settingwe are all on wellsThere are no fire hydrant anywhere on my roadI have lived here over years and this has not been a problemMy agent has been to my property and never mentioned thisSo does Grange raise everyones insurance who live in a rural environment? Once again I have been a faithful customer for over and have spent thousands of dollars in coverage with no claimsI take care of my property and make yearly upgrades to keep things running smoothly and minor problems I fix without making a claimNow I have a refund check that MrC [redacted] was mailed on 3/22/17, but I have not received itSo it is up to me to call Grange Customer Care Center after 4/11/and have it reissuedGranges lack of communication from the adjuster to my agent, how vengeful the adjuster was to make the bogus claims about the tree limbs only because I made a claim and was not happy how he tried to handle it, and the laziness of not involving me the customer sooner has lead to all this messThis is not how a business should be ran Regards, [redacted]

the statement about the body shop was trueHow ever I would like to state my need for a full size suv in my line of work was blatantly ignored and refused until my body shop assisted me Further more, let it be known here and everywhere else I can possibly spread the word, Grange Insurance refused to accept my request for a vehicle needed for my employment duties More precisely, my job of supporting buildings and hundreds of clients with disabilities in Montgomery county Ohio with IT servicesThat is correct, I was transporting equipment the day your insured rear ended me Yes, I work for Montgomery Couty Board of Developmental ServicesShame on Grange Insurance and all involved in this case Can’t wait to get to social media

Contrary to MrF [redacted] 's assertion, Grange never revised the CCC One appraisal report to reflect my three Craigslist ad comparables for Camry vehicles listed for sale by private individuals that would not be subject to Grange's $deduction for dealer condition adjustment that they made to the three dealer vehicles used in report # [redacted] The Craigslist ad vehicles would only be subject to an adjustment for comparable mileage and would result in adjusted value of approx $for my vehicle I am emailing a copy of CCC One appraisal report # [redacted] separately as I cannot attach it as a file to this response for some unknown reason My vehicle was not for sale at the time of the accident and it also was not owned by a dealer at that time Accordingly, the dealer condition subtraction of $is not applicable to my craigslist comparables for used Camry vehicles listed for sale by private individuals The value of my vehicle is approx$based on my craigslist comparables adjusted for mileage differences. As I indicated above, I am providing a copy of CCC One appraisal report # [redacted] as evidence that Grange did not utilize my Craigslist comparables of privately-owned vehicles listed for sale in making a good faith appraisal and valuation of my totaled Camry vehicle Thank you for your assistance in this matter Regards, [redacted]

MrC [redacted] did not address why my rate was increased over nor why my new agents faxes went unacceptedMy Grange insurance should have ended at midnight on 3/3/17, just to be clearAccording to MrC [redacted] reply the adjuster had a concern about the age of the roof and tree limbs so why not mention this to the ownerThese concerns could have been rectified instantly, but instead he informed the underwriter who informed the agent who decided not to inform the owner because he thought it was too coldIn reality the person who could solve the problem, the owner, was not informed of a concern until Grange decided to non-renew their insuranceThe break down in communication came through Granges own employeesRegards, [redacted]

Thank you for the letter regarding the customer’s dissatisfaction. The customer’s 1998 Honda Shadow motorcycle was damaged by our policyholder in an auto accident and deemed to be a total loss. A market valuation was completed by CCC on the customer’s motorcycle. We explained to the customer that... Grange Mutual Casualty Company utilize an independent company called [redacted] Claims Services in order establish a fair market value for vehicles that have been deemed a total loss. CCC takes the year, make, and model of the vehicle and searches for those same vehicles that are for sale near the customer’s zip code which are similar in mileage, options, and condition. CCC then takes the comparable vehicles that were found and averages what the sale prices for the comparables are and establishes the average market value. Our market value established by CCC was $3,316.00. We also explained to the customer that he would be eligible for up to $223.83 in sales tax reimbursement if he replaced the vehicle within 30 days as well $19.50 for the title fee. The customer asked about retaining salvage and we explained that there would be a salvage deduction of $696.36 if we were to retain the salvage. The customer advised he did not agree with the value that was presented. We contacted CCC to see if they could expand the search for more comparable motorcycles and they did. CCC was able to locate more comparable motorcycles and they supported the market value that already been established. The customer then submitted more links to comparable motorcycles that he located on Craigslist. We submitted those comparable motorcycles to CCC and two of the comparable motorcycles were added to the evaluation while two of the others that the customer provided were not reflective of the average market as they were in exceptional condition. Again, the additional comparable motorcycles further supported the established market value. Comparable vehicle #6 and comparable vehicle #12 on the attached CCC market valuation report are comparable vehicles that the customer provided. We have advised the customer of our settlement offer for his 1998 Honda Shadow motorcycle and that his signed notarized title is needed before a payment can be issued. We have addressed the customer’s concerns to the best of our ability. We also explained that if he does not agree with the value presented by us that he can file through his own carrier and we would pay his deductible once he provided a copy of his declaration page. I have enclosed all relevant documentation for your review. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at ###-###-####. Grange Insurance provides liability coverage for one of the vehicles involved in this 5-car accidentWhen we first spoke with the claimant on November 14th, we let her know that investigating the chain of events in a 5-car collision takes quite a bit of timeWe recommended that she ask her own insurance company handle her claim initially to avoid incurring additional storage charges from the wrecker service that was storing her vehicleWe explained that once we are able to speak to all of the drivers involved and confirm how the accident happened we could then pay her insurance company back if our insured was completely at faultWe followed up with a letter on 11/14/stating that if her vehicle was accumulating storage charges we may not be responsible for them Once we received the updated police report on 12/20/containing the names of the other drivers we immediately started trying to contact themWe were able to reach the last driver on 1/10/We updated the claimant on 11/26, 12/5, and 12/regarding the status of the investigation We called the customer on 1/12/to let her know that we were finally able to reach all of the drivers and were accepting liability for the accidentShe explained that she never involved her own insurance company and had left her vehicle at the wrecker service still incurring daily storage chargesWe explained that since she did not take steps to avoid the unnecessary charges, she would unfortunately be responsible for themWe tried to get the wrecker service to lower the storage bill but they refusedWe followed back up with her on 1/17/to review the value of her vehicle and the storage bill deduction, which she understood and accepted When we called to follon the paperwork on 1/31/17, she let us know that she no longer agreed that she was responsible for the extra storage chargesWe explained that we could not pay for the storage she incurred since it was something she could have avoided and that we let her know months agoWe attempted to follow-back up with her the following week and again on 2/9/and got her voicemailShe has not responded since the conversation on 1/31/

*** * *** *** would not have repaired my vehicle unless I agreed to pay the labor rate difference as Grange would not and I would have had to take my vehicle to a different shop If I wanted to go to the shop of my choice, which I did, and as laws state, insurance companies are not able to tell you what shops you can and can not take your vehicle to for repairs, then they should cover the labor rate cost from *** * *** *** Grange, through refusing to pay the entire labor rate for the repairs, was in their way preventing me from taking my car to the shop of my choice which I knew was going to do quality work, right, the first time I do not know how many people would actually pay the difference that Grange would not pay to have their vehicle repaired, and I probably would not have either and would have gone to a different shop to prevent me from having to pay out of my own pocket for something that was not my fault in the first place if I had not had experiences with other shops in the Columbus, Ohio area My family has taken vehicles to shops Grange "prefers" to have repairs done, and we have been back three times because these preferred shops can not do proper work, take short cuts which has caused the paint to peal off the car time after time, several years after the repairs are made This was not something I was going to do with a $40,car that is less than years old. I would also like to further state that *** * *** *** has informed me they are paid by numerous other insurers the entire $an hour labor rate and this has been their rate for several years now
Regards,*** ***
