Free For Mommy Reviews (33)

Ms. [redacted],
As stated previously, when you reviewed our advertisement on Facebook
we were experiencing a very high volume of orders, and due to the schedule of
the advertisement it was to remain online until a specific period of time. This
is standard digital advertising. We have since added a pop up to the order form
so that anytime someone clicks on the button to “Try Diaper Sample – FREE” it
will now refer to the diapers as being sold out and to check back soon.

As for your order, we sent you an email
notifying you of the lack of inventory and cancelled your account. No charges
or shipments were ever posted.

Thank you,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. They sent me an e-mail stating they were out of stock, but days before that, they called me and told me my order was on its way; however, they could not give me a tracking number or shipping updates. I called the same number they called me from back, and I got the same story about how my diapers were on their way but they also wanted to send me free gas vouchers and sign me up for their budget saver program.
I don't see how if they were out of stock that I could be told that the diapers were on their way.
Again, I think this website is just a scam to sucker people into buying their diet pills and get people's information, and I would prefer that it be shut down.
Regards,

SCAM!!!

I requested a free diaper sample from this company and my cc was charged for the diaper shipping costs, Slimming Garcinia and Slimming Cleanse diet pills, and I was signed up for 4 different monthly subscriptions. I tried to cancel the diet pills but was told they were on their way and I would have to return them with my own money if I wanted to cancel the future pill bottles ($90 each!!). Several days later I received tracking information for the pills that supposedly shipped right away. That is ridiculous! I called several times, emailed dozens of times and filed a complaint with the Revdex.com and they have denied any wrong doing. They claim not to be associated with Slimming Garcinia, Slimming Cleanse, E-Fit but yet Free For Mommy's email confirmation page has Slimming@smashtech in their signature. That leads right to the Slimming website. I'm sure this review will do no good as they will have moved on to a new site, with a new advertising technique to scam many others just like they did to me. I have never yelled at a customer service representative before but I was so angry with the way they handled the situation. They could hardly even speak English!

Review: 44FYI

The company is advertising a free sample of diapers. You fill out the form and pay $4.95 shipping. Then the company sends you an email stating the size you requested is out of stock. Then somehow, you get sent weight loss pills, and subscribed to a fitness website. There is no way to cancel online, or see how they say you "signed up". I finally contacted the bank and they helped me get customer service to offer a refund. I haven't seen anything yet.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. The issue was resolved. I didn't realize I was supposed to respond, Thanks!

Review: I ordered a sample pack of diapers from a link on their facebook site. This link is still available and still takes credit card information. Samples are not "available" from their free for mommy site, only the shared facebook link. It has not been deleted or expired. There are no terms & conditions posted on the facebook page link. My credit card was immediately charged for the shipping for diapers that they didn't send. Free For Mommy also had their supposed 3rd party company charge me for 2 bottles of diet pills along with a monthly subscription for these pills. I was also signed up for monthly subscriptions of efit with a cost of $29 monthly. Free For Mommy claims they are not affiliated with Slimming Cleanse, Slimming Garcinia, or Efit yet their Slimming email address shows up as part of their Free For Mommy signature when they email you to confirm your free diaper trial. It's [email protected]. The Garcinia Site also comes up when you google search that address. After submitting a Revdex.com Dispute they send a generic response that they are out of stock and the sales link has been removed. They will just make a new website and scam more people and refuse to pay them back for their crooked and deceptive advertising/marketing scam.Desired Settlement: Since I cancelled my credit card for unauthorized charges I want a check for the amounts I was charged $45.85.

Slimming Cleanse $4.95

Slimming Garcinia $5.95

Diaper Trial $4.95

EFit $29

Review: Ad was for free pack of diapers, just pay $4.95 shipping. I paid the shipping money and 2 bottles of pills were added to my order at checkout against my wish. I get an email a few days later saying the diapers are out of stock and I will be refunded my $4.95. I was never refunded my $4.95 and to make matters worse I was received 2 charges for $89 for the pills that were sent against my wish.Desired Settlement: I want them to send me the pack of diapers I ordered or refund my $4.95. As well as remove the charges for the pills that I never wanted, nor agreed to. I want them to remove my name from any subscription lists. As well as all the other victim mothers out there that also fell for their scam. As well as stop deleting people's comments on their facebook page so others will know to stay away.

Sincerely,

I signed up for a free pack of diapers, only pay shipping. Which was only 4.95. On the website as you are checking out it asks If you want diet pills. I am pregnant but would have said no anyway. I was charged another 5.95 and received diet pills I did not want or order. Never any diapers. When you try and contact the company your email is sent back because their inbox is full. No other way to get in touch. I will chalk this up as a loss. Just want others to be aware. Now their company has disappeared from Facebook which is where I first heard about them.

Review: I ordered an order of "free diapers" from this company. I was informed of the shipping cost. A couple days later I received a call from the company regarding my order and attempting to sell me more. I informed the person SEVERAL times I do not want any other items or charges on my card other than the shipping cost of the diapers. She informed me I would only be charged $4.95 for the diapers. I have now received a package of diet pills with no invoice and my debit card has been charged $5.95 for these diet pills. Upon trying to contact the company I am only provided an email address that when I send an email I get a reply of mailbox full.Desired Settlement: I want the money put back in my account and a prepaid return envelope to return these pills.

Response:

I purchased diapers from free for mommy and I got charged for this product (slimming glucerna) that I do NOT want. I talked to a [redacted] (1246205) and he said there is no way for me to get my money back. I want my money back without having to pay return shipping I did not want this product and I am very unhappy with your customer service department. I do not care about sending thw product back I just do not want to pay more money for something I did not want in the first place and was charged $20 for. I asked to talk to a supervisor and was told there wasnt one. I am severely angry at the company and want this situation resolved.

Review: Myself and a coworker ordered the free diapers from freeformommy.com but the next day, I received a phone call stating the diapers were on their way but that they were also going to send me some free gas vouchers and sign me up for a free trial of a budget saver program and would then charge me $29.95 each month if it wasn't cancelled within two weeks. I told them not to sign me up for the free trial. The terms and conditions on their website make no mention of this free trial. I did not receive my diapers and was directed to an e-mail address for customer service, and I have e-mailed three separate times and received the same exact e-mail in response stating that the size of diapers I ordered were out of stock. I believe this website is just a scam to get people's information and to sign them up for this free trial and sell them diet pills which I also declined.Desired Settlement: I would like the free diapers I was promised or this website shut down because I believe it is nothing more than a scam.

I ordered a trail pack of diapers from Freeformommy's and I was to pay the shipping cost. Unbeknownst to me a monthly trial of e-fit and two bottles of diet pills were added to my order. I called customer service to prevent these products/services from coming to me. They refused to prevent shipment and said I need to use my own money to send them back. Then they tried to get me to keep them for half the cost I was going to pay if I did not send them back. This was very frustrating!! I did not want them in the first place. They also signed me up for an expensive monthly diaper service that I did not agree to. The terms & conditions were not on their facebook page, ad, or order form. They deleted all of my comments on their Facebook page warning other customers not to fall for this SCAM! Slimming Cleanse, Slimming Garcinia, E-Fit and Smashtech are a huge scam.

Review: I ordered "free diapers" read through the entire terms and conditions, to which nothing is mentioned of a subscription to Garcinia or slimming cleanse. When you pay the $4.95 shipping and handling they take your information and subscribe you to TWO $89.95 monthly subscriptions. After you pay for what you think is shipping and handling for free diapers, they email you a couple hours later and say they are all out of free diapers. When you call the 800 number on the $4.95, its not a legitimate number and when you dispute the subscription charges she lies and claims that you signed up on her Garcinia website. This is a complete scam.Desired Settlement: I want my money back.

Ms. [redacted],

Review: On 5/13/15 I visited freeformommy.com through their Facebook page. You cannot order the diaper samples through their webpage as they cannot collect your Facebook username/email address unless you order from their Facebook page. I ordered a free sample package of diapers and wipes where I was responsible for paying $4.95 shipping. I entered my information including my credit card #. There was no place to click "complete transaction" but there was a button "expedite shipping" which I clicked in hopes of clicking off "expedite" since I wanted standard shipping. I went to the bottom of the screen and clicked off "agree to terms & conditions" since the terms and conditions were not posted anywhere on the site or on the purchase screen. I then clicked "complete purchase". Within a minute I was charged by 3 companies and received several emails for additional products that freeformommy automatically signed me up for. The products they signed me up for were [redacted] slimming pills ($5.95), [redacted] cleanse pills ($4.95), efit, and epantry diapers ($4.95). These are all monthly subscriptions for which I was responsible for paying for monthly or cancelling myself. I tried several times within minutes of being charged to cancel the garcinina products but was told they were already in transit to me. On 5/15/15 I received shipping notifications for these pills. On 5/18/15 I received an email that the freeformommy diaper sample I ordered was out of stock. I have been charged for all of these products and have not been credited for the diapers that were "out of stock". I was told that the only way to not be charged $89 for each of the pill bottles was to ship them back to the manufacturer at my own cost. I have been charged $15.85 to my credit card and am now responsible for $178 for the pills. www.freeformommy.com is a scam. They have no intention of sending diaper samples. Their only intention is to bill you for monthly subscriptions of unintended products and services.Desired Settlement: I would like the $193.85 to be paid back to me via check. I would like this website shut down since it's only intention is a scam.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I was charged 4.95 from epantry, 4.95 for slimming cleanse, and 5.95 for slimming pills after signing up for a free diaper trial from freeformommy.com's facebook advertisement. This was a direct result from requesting a free sample of diapers from your ad. I DID NOT accept the terms and conditions but yet my credit card was still charged for these product/services. It is a false statement that your advertising is not available as I have been able to click on the link to receive the diaper trial several times. It is not from the freeformommy.com site but rather from the freeformommy facebook page link that has been shared several thousand times on facebook. Therefore the diaper trial is still readily available through the shared link. I have posted pictures that I JUST took as proof that this advertisement is still live and credit cards are able to be charged for this "free" trial. They later send an email that they are out of diapers but that only comes after your card has been charged.
