Auto Finders clearly specifies that "net funds" (those due the client) will not be dispersed until the company receives a clean "Merchantable" title, free of liensThe client was reminded of this policy on several occasions throughout the processFreedom Auto Finders has no control over, nor can we speak to, any delays that may occur between banks and the State of Idaho or the State and our company

unaware of any damages done by any negligence on our part.We did not initiate this deal with the seller. The buyer brought the seller to our office, asking us to facilitate the buy-sell transaction. After sharing our procedural requirements with both buyer and seller in the same room together, we all agreed that, after we were paid by the buyer. we would proceed with taking care of the transaction in a normal business fashion, getting the seller paid and the buyer a clear title. As stated, both buyer and seller were present in the same room and acknowledged we would not proceed to buy the vehicle until we were certain it was paid for by the purchaser, as we had no desire to own the vehicle in question. Some initial paperwork was completed, so we would know what was being agreed to, and that we had the sellers permission to proceed before the buyer went to his bank to get a loan. The seller asked for a bill of sale, which we said we would make available (and did), once the buyer had brought us the money to buy their vehicle. We did not want to execute a document that would obligate us to purchase this truck (at a retail price) if the buyer failed to bring in the money. Both buyer and Seller were in agreement to our terms. We further explained we would not issue funds to them without a clear title.A few days transpired before the buyer returned with the money to pay for the truck. we then proceeded with the transaction as agreed. The seller did not have a clear title but rather owed money to a lender. We agreed to payoff the lender and stated we would pay the seller the balance due them when we received a clear title from the state. The seller was agreeable. When the check we had received from the buyer cleared our bank, we proceeded to pay off the vehicle as agreed. At the time of this writing, we are still waiting for a title from the state. We regret the seller is unhappy with how the transaction has progressed to this point but we have no control over how long it took to receive funds from the buyer, how long a lender takes to release a title, nor how long it might take to receive a title from the state.
