This is really very easy. The building *** needs to file a claim. If their insurance agent investigates and determines that this is (no doubt) our fault. Then all they would need to do is file a claim against my insurance. But I am not going to just go off what someone thinks that was not even there

I am rejecting this response because:I do not understand how [redacted] managed to clean the bathroom that was leaking while there was water all around her? She claims when she entered the bathroom it was leaking, but, again, she managed to clean the sink, empty the trash and clean the floor with water all around her? Again - we never suggested this was intentional, but it was clear that something hit the pipe by the toilet to cause the flood, it was obviously an accident. Not owning up to the accident is what is disappointing, that is why your company has insurance - to cover accidents! Very poor way to do business!

[redacted] or I have never stated that the water was leaking when she entered the office. We do not know when the leak started. The office rest room is at the back and the last thing to be cleaned. When [redacted] entered that rest room, she discovered the leak and immediately called the...
customer. The water was only in the restroom at that time. But it took the customer over forty-five minutes to get the water turned off, which is why the water made it to one office and the hallway. [redacted] also went and got some blankets to help control the leak until the customer arrived and turned off the water main outside. The customer thinks that there is no way that this pipe broke on its own, but these things happen all the time in businesses and homes (who has not had a water leak in their business or house that just happened and was nobody’s fault?). It is not right to just automatically blame the cleaning lady. The building [redacted] should file with their insurance because the pipe was probably defective and should have been replaced before this happened. The customer canceled immediately and ask that the keys be returned, I returned the keys to her the next day. I have had no contact with the customer since then.
