I signed up with Freedom Financial to help resolve my credit card issues I discovered after giving them over $dollars and they have not even contacted the banks and have no intentions of contacting the banks I contacted the banks to discover that they do not contact Freedom Financial I am in the process of trying to stop them from going into my checking account only to discover they are now sending me emails that they are in contact with my bank but cannot send me proof I believe this company to be a scam

Review: Freedom was to settle 4 credit card acct. or me. I had to set up an account with them for payments for the accts. They set up an ACH out of my primary acct. To be deposited into a acct with them to make payments out of on my behalf. They set up ACH out of my primary acct on the 15th, & 30th. This didn't work with my pay schedule. I contacted them to change the date from the 30th to the 1st. I signed paperwork and sent it back with an email confirmation that they receive it. I even did a follow up phone call with them. Several months went by with them continuing to draw on the 30th. Causing multiple overdraft and fees on my acct. I contacted Freedom about this, they told me that they never updated my acct. and I needed to resign the paperwork and send it in again since several months has past. So I did. [redacted] card was one of the accts they agreed to contact and settle. They never contacted them. We got court papers by the sheriff official that we were being sued, due to freedom not contactING them. We had to close out out IRA's to pay the acct. off. Now once again I am being contacted by another credit card informing me that freedom has not been paying the settlement amount agreed upon. I contacted Freedom about this they asked me to scan them a copy of the letter and reassuring me that they were in fact paying them. And that my financial statements prove that it was being paid, and that someone would contact me from the settlement dept. Two weeks went by with no one contacting me once again! I called once again to find out why no one has called. They responded that someone would call me back. That never happened. I called again asking about the settlement being paid. I was informed that they weren't being paid. My statement show the payments are being made. Just got another letter from citi bank stating that no payments have been made. Where is my $ going. And if they are not being paid why do my statements show its coming out every month.Desired Settlement: I would like to know where the funds are going that is being deducted out of my acct. And if they are not being paid why do my statements show they are and wherected is my $ going?. Are these stmts being falsified? I paid a large fee to have these accts settled by freedom and would like the funds refunded to me.

And some kind of decent customer service. Every one needs to pay attention and stop telling me something different every time I call in. At this point I have no idea if my acct are getting paid or not. I can't get a straight answer from anyone. So far I have had nothing but more heart ache and frustration then any kind of customer deserve. I would like all my fees refunded along with my funds that are being deducted out of my acct. That was being paid to citi that they never received.

Review: This is the second complaint filed. The first one "timed out" before actual resolution had been reached and I have been dealing with the same issue ever since. The company's job was to negotiate my credit card debt and assist me in clearing my credit. A settlement was reached with one of my creditors, and due to repeated negligence (failure to adhere to deadlines, failure to return phone calls, failure to follow through on assurances made by company employees and managers), the settlement deadline was missed, and the settlement went null. I went back and forth with so many people., and even after a Mr. [redacted] became involved after my first complaint, I was soon being ignored again and my efforts to bring resolution to the problem were dismissed in such a way that I was told something was being worked on, but then nothing ever happened... I would call, leave messages, and my calls not returned. When I did talk to someone, they spun the situation in their favor and tried to make it seem like they were working on things, but then it never got any better. I stopped allowing them to take my money pending resolution, and then I was blamed for their failure, basically saying that they could not reach resolution without more money. I reminded them of all the fees they had collected from me prior to their failure, and suggested they use this money to bring resolution to the settlement. I was not comfortable with them taking any more money from my account. Most recently I left a message for a supervisor named [redacted] (sp?) telling him that I wanted my contract terminated and all fees returned. I have not received a return call.Desired Settlement: At this time, and after several attempts to work with this Mickey Mouse operation, I would like all fees taken by FF to be returned to my checking account, and my contract with them terminated on grounds that they failed to deliver on their promises.
