Freedom Food Trucks is thankfully gone, but in case Mr. Emley ever gets his business up and running again, I warn anyone reading this that he is a FRAUD. Unable to finish our job, Mr. Emley took 21 weeks to get us a truck and the truck we got was incomplete and therefore in breach of contract. He does not return phone calls, and offers every excuse imaginable to delay work. Once we got our truck back home, we found it was not even safe to be on the road. Mr. Emley told us it had been in the shop for 3 weeks having work done by a mechanic so that it would be roadworthy; that turned out to be a lie. He also promised us a 1995 truck or newer, but we got a 1990, AND he tried to sell us a 16-foot truck claiming it to be 18-feet in an attempt to gouge us. The plumbing and electric hookups had to be redone and the gas lines had 7 leaks in them before we fixed them ourselves. We have put more work into this truck than Mr. Emley did, both with installing all our own equipment and fixing everything that Mr. Emley had done himself. The ONLY thing that was done professionally was the generator platform that his brother welded to the front bumper. The fact that he lost his business in a lawsuit is called KARMA.
