Review: when going over papers at refinancing closing was told that mortgage insurance would drop off in 7 years or when we got loan paid down to 80% of about borrowed. Then once we hit that mark was told that it would be & years before mortgage insurance would stop. But that was not what we were told at closing. so we have been paying it for almost 2 yrs since reaching the 80% markDesired Settlement: To get back the mortgage insurance fees we were charged after meeting our 20%pay down on our mortgage as told to us by the closer for Freedom Mortgage

Review: As of one year this month I established a mortgage serviced by Freedom Mortgage. It was to my request the lender terms should include the ablility to prepay without penalization. Records show that as I have paid ahead on the account serviced by the company, the company has charged me interest not due to the account which has accumilated to over 2,000 be collected that they are not entitled to. When reaching out to the service compay loan care the rep [redacted] and supervisor [redacted] advised me that I will need to make principal payments for payments to reflect as I want. I would like to speak with the rightful devision of the company to clarify why unaccrued interest over 2000.00 has been allocated to the company's pocket instead of the debt intended to pay back. No rep nor sup had the capability of explaining this to me.Desired Settlement: My desired to solution is to have all interest paid to this company that is not entitled to them reflect to the outstanding debt owed to them. Prior to communication with the representive servicing this will need to communicate with me via phone to ensure that we are all on the same page.

Review: I received an offer from Freedom Mortgage last month in reference to refinancing my home. I contacted Freedom Mortgage and spoke to a man named [redacted] who stated he was the assistant finance manager. I told [redacted] about the offer and we proceded to go forward with my application process. I was sent several documents via email to sign and send back in which I did within a few days. I also paid $375.00 to have an appraiser come to my home and do an appraisal. [redacted] called me back about 1.5 week later and told me what the appraisal price was. He told me everything looked good and the closing was scheduled for Sept 20th. I called last week to ensure the closing was still on track and left several messages and emails to which weren't returned for a couple days. After talking to someone there who wasnt [redacted] I was told [redacted] transferred to another department and I had a new loan officer. When I asked to speak to my new loan officer I was sent to voicemail to which I left a voicemail and again no call back for 2 days. On Monday I called again and was shffled ince again through several people and was told my loan was rejected due to needing more information. When I asked if someone was going to call me to let me know the answer was they didnt know. So I was given a new loan officer name and number this now is the 3rd loan officer I had. I contacted this individual and left a message in which 4 hours later I was contacted back and told they need more info for the loan to be re processed through the underwriter. I provided everything they asked for and was told I would be contacted today. And to NO SURPRISE I WASNT CONTACTED !!!!!Desired Settlement: Finish and approve my loan like I was promised
