[redacted] brought in a [redacted] TV with the complaint that it shuts-off in 5-min.He agreed to pay the $check charge to have the TV testedBegan testing the next dayTV powered on and a dvd player was connected to HDMI port for testingPicture was good and continued to play a movie for the next 2hrs.TV was still on so the movie was restarted and played another 2hrs.TV was then powered off for the nightNext day all other input ports were tested; each played for better than 30minbefore switching to the nextHeating and cooling of different areas of TV was applied with no shutdownEach day there after dvd movie was played at least once, if not needed to test another set.TV continued to play for over a week with shutting off by itself.Tried leaving messages for ***.When he did call, I told him I could continue to play the TV until it started shutting off, or he could take it and bring it back when it finally started shutting off.He was advised to call first before coming to p/u TV so I could be sure to be there.Had he done so ,I would have the TV on and playingUnfortunately, he choose not to ; coming in as I was heading out for an appointmentHe took TV without taking advise on things he should check at home; such as other equipthat could cause a conflict with the tv's microprocessor ,causing lock-up/shutdown issuesAs the $ck charge covers only apart of the time spent in the testing process, there will be no refund[redacted] -owner Please return email upon receipt- thanks for your help [redacted]
