I took my Can-Am Outlander 4 wheeler in for repair in November! They constantly gave me the run around as to when it would be fixed, my insurance company and I kept calling them they were not returning calls to either of us! Then they finally called in January saying that they didn't have the part and it was going to be in soon, the end of the month came still no word on my vehicle being fixed, I went up there and it had been sitting out in the rain and ice they didn't have my cover on it, I spoke to the managers, their corporate office and I didn't get any satisfaction from any of them! So now we are in Feb. and now they saying they are not repairing it till they receive payment from the insurance company, they receive a check from my insurance company for $4524.27 plus 500.00 more from me towards my deductible and I asked them if they would waive that since it took them 3 1/2 months to fix it and I just recently had to bring it back to them on Mar.6 because it sounds worse than it did and it broke down on me during my hunting trip! They charged me for things that I did not even asked them do they were only supposed to be repairing it for the reason I had bought it in for! I had to missed days from work to try and go resolve this matter and have not gotten any feedback from management or higher!

Desired Outcome

Billing Adjustment I would like to get back what i paid to have this vehicle fixed since they kept it for that amount of time and it is still not fixed! They didn't even have me signed the check that the insurance company sent them we paid a total of 5,024.27 and according to the receipts i was charged more for the labor than the parts and for it not being repaired correctly after all these months i deserve a refund!

Company's Response:

*** dropped unit off on 11/17/2017 and was told it would be beginning of Dec before we would be able to get to tear down the unit for a diag. Customer called on 11/24 and was told that the diag was still scheduled for the beginning of Dec. On 12/5 customer was left a message to get autho to tear down further as the initial estimate doesn't cover the amount of tear down that has to be done to find the problem. 12/5 customer called back and said he is calling the manufacture to see if they would good will the cause as he felt it was not his issue. BRP had declined as it was abuse to the unit. 12/6 customer called and said he is going to file this under his insurance and he would call back with more info. 12/22 called customer and told him we will be tearing down his unit in Jan and we were just waiting on approval from adjuster to do final tear down. 1/16 called customer and updated that unit was being torn down and once estimate was finished we will call the insurance adjuster. 1/19 called and left message for adjuster to come out and look at it again. 1/26 called adjuster and left another message for call back. Was told the adjuster would be coming out to look this week and no one showed. 1/28 adjuster finally came out to look at the unit. 2/1 sent a copy of the repair order to the adjuster Nathan. 2/3 adjuster email back and said he would contact me and let us know when to proceed with the repair. 2/6 customer was contacted to let him know we were still waiting for adjuster to approve so we could order the parts and proceed with the repair. 2/6 towards the end of the day adjuster called and approved. Received check on 2/13. Customer called on 2/16 and was not happy even though he was told we wouldn't be able to tear down til Jan. 2/20 called customer with an update on where we were in the repair. 2/23 called customer and let him know unit looks like it would be finished on 2/24 and we would call him when its ready. 2/24 called and left message for pick up @ 9am when we opened and left another message at 11:49am. Customer called back 2/25 and said he would be picked up the unit the following week. Customer brought unit back 3/14 and had issue not related to what was repaired in the past. With this being an insurance claim we were at the mercy of the insurance company and the adjuster to give approval. Everything was cleary documented on our side with dates/times and can be sent if needed.
