I have not received my title for a motorcycle that I paid off back in November 2014, they tell me they sent to title twice but refused on the second time to send it federal express or some other method requiring a signature. And today is now 22nd of June 2015.I called them and they give me attitude like it's my fault that I did not receive the title and oh by the way to bed you paid off the motorcycle and you have no title. What can do you guys do for me is my question , please help me get my title. Thank youDesired SettlementI want them to produce my title for my motorcycle and deliver it to meBusiness Response [redacted] - FreedomRoad Financial apologizes for any inconvenience you have experienced as it relates to receiving your title to your motorcycle for the loan that you have paid in full. Upon paying your loan in full with us, our policy is either to issue a release of lien letter or the actual title, if held by FreedomRoad Financial, within 10 business days of your loan being paid in full. On 12/15/2014, FreedomRoad Financial sent the original title to you to the address of record. As of 02/11/2015, you had contacted us because you had not received it and requested that we obtain a duplicate title on your behalf. On 02/16/2015, we requested a duplicate title at our expense from the Connecticut DMV. The duplicate title was received and forwarded to you on 04/15/2015. As of date, you have not received either the original title or the duplicate title. FreedomRoad Financial feels that in good faith it has done everything possible to resolve this matter. The quickest resolution would be for you to obtain a duplicate title from your local DMV office. To process the duplicate title request, the local DMV requires a lien release letter executed by FreedomRoad Financial. On 06/23/2015, FreedomRoad Financial issued a lien release letter and mailed it to the address of record. If you would prefer that FreedomRoad Financial request a second duplicate title for you from the Connecticut DMV, please send the $25.00 duplicate title fee made payable to the Connecticut DMV and we will process the request. Please note that if FreedomRoad Financial processes the duplicate title request, it may take up to two months. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience and frustration this matter may have caused and hope we have resolved the matter to your satisfaction. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)I do except the businesses response, because now they are sending that letter via certified mail requiring a signature. thank you Revdex.com

This company calls THIRD parties, tells them about our debt. This company has called third parties, tells them they are to get in touch with us about our debt. Although they have been told and sent a letter and email to CEASE AND DESIST all third party collections they have not. They really do NOT need to contact us or anyone else if they would ONLY look at their OWN payment portal for the scheduled payments. A Portal which they want us to use, but they do not utilize themselves. We have filed a complaint through the Federal website as well.Desired SettlementCEASE AND DESIST ALL THIRD PARTY COLLECTIONS. THEY SHOULD BE FINED FOR THEIR PRACTICES.Business Response As a standard practice we require 2 personal references on most loans. References are people that are known to our customer, such as friends or relatives. We do not call these references at all unless we can not get ahold of our customer. We make every effort to contact our customer first through phone numbers they have provided, email, and mail correspondence. If we do not hear from our customer in a reasonable amount of time then we will call the references. We do not discuss anything pertaining to our customer's account or the nature of our business or why we are looking for them. We only identify who we are, who we are looking for, and ask if they could please pass a message to our customer to give us a call. If a reference asks not be called again then we respect their wishes. We have no reason to call any references as long as our customer makes himself/herself available to us and communicates with us. If [redacted] would like to discuss further with me then I would be more than happy to talk with him. Thank you. [redacted]FreedomRoad Financial

Lien for vehicle that FreedomRoad Financial held has been paid off in full as of January 13th. No title for vehicle has been received nearly one month later. Company has advised that a duplicate title at my cost is the only remaining option as per [redacted] the financial title team lead of FreedomRoad Financial.Product_Or_Service: MotorcycleAccount_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementA title for my vehicle clean and clear must be received by me without further burden to myself. When one make s payment for a Lien, should the payment fail to arrive. That is the account holders responsibility, not the Lien holder. Once the Lien is paid in full, it is the Lien holders responsibility to deliver title free and clear. If the title is not received that is the Lien holders responsibility, in this case FreedomRoad financial. Business Response This response is in regards to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint against FreedomRoad Financial concerning the receipt of his motorcycle title. Mr. [redacted]'s loan with FreedomRoad Financial was paid-off on 1/13/2015. It is our policy to wait 10 business days or 14 calendar days before sending out the collateral title. We do this to ensure that there are no disputes against payments made on the loan. On 1/27/2015 we sent the [redacted] title to the customer at the address on file and confirmed by Mr. [redacted]. This was sent via [redacted] On 2/9/2015 Mr. [redacted] called and spoke to two customer service representatives regarding the title that he had not yet received from the [redacted]. It was noted that he was very rude to both representatives and requested to speak to their supervisor. The Team Leader of Funding/Titles took the phone call. Mr. [redacted] was unwilling to listen to ways in which this issue could be resolved. It is standard practice when a title is not received by a customer that FreedomRoad Financial will issue a lien release letter which the customer can then use to receive a duplicate title from their states Department of Motor Vehicles. FreedomRoad can also request a duplicate title but in most cases it would take longer than the customer requesting it on their own. It was unfortunate that this information was not able to be communicated to Mr. [redacted] prior to the termination of the phone call. It is also unfortunate that Mr. [redacted] continues to blame us for not receiving his title when it was evidently lost by the [redacted] and we have no control over their actions. At this point we have one of two options: 1) We will send the customer both a lien release and a check payable to the [redacted] secretary of state for the duplicate title, we do not pay for duplicate titles but will make an exception for Mr. [redacted]; 2) We will apply for the duplicate title on Mr. [redacted]'s behalf and once received will pay to [redacted] the duplicate title to him. If Mr. [redacted] could please let us know which option he prefers we will take care of it. Thank you. FreedomRoad Financial Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)To infer that I (Mr. [redacted]) was rude to the associates and in some way is the reason of error on Freedomroads parts is fictitious and a lie. Further remarks should be obtained from FreedomRoads part with an apology for the remarks made in the response that are inquorate. I have attempted to communicate with FreedomRoad on several occasions. In fact my first corispondace was with [redacted] and [redacted]. I spoke with Freedom initially on 1-14-15 in regards to the release of the title and the time frame. While I Was told it would be released in the 10 business day period, I asked for an email confirmation of such. The response from FreedomRoad was "I do not have time to send you and email, I'm too busy". The lack of urgency and the cynicism my phone calls have been met with is disturbing. After practically begging the associate to send me the email, and several requests to speak with a supervisor, she finally agreed to send the email only supporting what was told to me on the phone. It is to be noted that each request to resolve the problem and ask for a supervisor was met with no urgency, followed with excuses as to why I would not be transferred or assisted. My next follow up on 2-4-15 met with similar despair. As the associate told me they had no way of providing actual evidence of title shipment, though the system indicated a 1-27-15 date of shipment. However no actual evidence existed of correct address, tracking info ect. She informed me that all I can do is wait and see if the title shows. She could only suggest waiting until Friday (2-6-15) to see if the title shows up. I agreed. That following Monday (2-9-15) I contacted Freedomroad again to reach a resolution since I was still without title. These series of phone calls created a great lack of confidence with FreedomRaods ability. Speaking with the initial associate I was told I am "out of luck" and would have to try and simply get a duplicate title myself. When asking to speak with a supervisor I was told one is not available. After insisting, the associate terminated the call. I immediately called back only to be met with more cynicism in addition from the first associate. After the bickering I had to endure from her, I was finally placed into contact with [redacted]. Her attitude was short, and seemingly unwilling to help. The only communication she was able to offer is that I had to pay for a duplicate title. Asking [redacted] how paying for a duplicate title myself, and doing with required footwork myself, based on freedomroads error would be at all acceptable. She proceeded to tell me that "she will not argue with me" and "call back when you have a better attitude" then terminated the call. At this point I filed my complaints with the Revdex.com and other organizations as well as [redacted] of America. [redacted] of America was in correspondence with Freddomroad that evening (2-9-15), and freedomroad promised [redacted] a more urgent response and that I would be contact the following day (2-10-15). Freedomroad failed to contact me for the following days only exacerbating the frustration with myself and even [redacted] of America at this point. To allow perspective, if Freedomroad would not follow up with me after contact with [redacted] of America; imagine the way I have been treated by the said customer service of Freedomroad during this time. This only shows the attitude that is truly held with freedomroad financial. A resolution shall be as follows- A title shall be obtained by Freedomroad, it shall be Free and Clear and of original condition as would be obtained given the lack of error creating the titles non delivery. It shall be obtained in such manner as to not affect the motorcycles value in any way. Shall the title be error'd, contain errors, or affect the motorcycles value in any way, FreedomRoad shall be made liable for error and required to rectify in a timely manner as to be determined based on error and its discovery. It shall be sent in such a manner as to be tracked for delivery with verification of correct address and person. Tracking information shall be provided to all parties when immediately available. This shall happen at time of mailing or before. Being provided after the fact is not acceptable. The time frame of such title delivery shall not exceed that than any person would perceive as a reasonable amount of time. 15 business days I would imagine is more than typical. An apology from the associates that have incorrectly portrayed my actions, most likely in order to protect their own employment, shall be made. Understanding the root cause to why customers (specifically myself) are met with "I do not have time" attitudes shall be understood. This is needed to prevent others from undergoing the same frustrations and time waste that I have had to endure. The incorrect descriptions in FreedomRoads response to the Revdex.com outlining my behavior shall be removed as they are purely falsehoods. After all how can one be unwilling to listen to any resolutions when they are the ones being "hung-up" on?Final Business Response The title was lost in the mail, that is not Mr. [redacted]'s fault nor is it FreedomRoad's fault. It is simply an unfortunate occurrence, beyond our control, that has impacted both parties. There is nothing that can be done other than ordering a new duplicate title. FreedomRoad will pay to order a new title through the [redacted]. Once received we will send the duplicate title, with our lien released, to Mr. [redacted]. All communication with the [redacted] will be done via overnight [redacted] in order to expedite the receipt of a new title. Once received we will then [redacted] the title overnight to Mr. [redacted] on the same day that we receive it from the [redacted]. We cannot agree to any time frame for all of this to happen as we have no control over how fast the [redacted] chooses to act and send us a new title. From our prior experience with other state [redacted]'s, it can take 30 days or more to receive a duplicate title once ordered. We will do everything we can on our end to try and get them to speed up the process, we will even investigate to see if they have a "rush service", if they do and there is a fee then we will pay it. Thank you. FreedomRoad Financial

I paid off my motorcycle in April and was sent a Leon release. After taking the lien release to the [redacted] I was told that they didn't possess the title, they only had a copy of the Hawaii title. I contacted Freedom Road and after some run around was transferred to the Title Department. Apparently there is only one woman who hands titling. I have continued to call and leave messages and have not received a call back regarding my concern. Every time I call Customer Service they inform me she is out and prompt me to leave a message. They also continue to tell me that all I need to do is take the lien release to the local DMV and that will resolve the issue. I have repeatedly explained to them that this is not going to work. Each time Customer Service is disrespectful and in the case of one employee, [redacted], was arrogant and flat out rude. As my loan has been paid off, I expect Freedom Road to follow through even after they've received my hard earned money. If I still owed, I'm sure Customer Service would handle my calls with urgency. I can only assume that now that I have paid them that I am no longer considered a valuable customer.Product_Or_Service: MotorcycleDesired SettlementI would like my Title and/or help me obtain it from the right agent immediately. Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted], EVPContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted].comMr. [redacted] - I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced in dealing with us in regards to receiving the title to your motorcycle after paying off your loan with us. As a policy we send out either a lien release letter or the actual title if we hold it with our lien released 10 business days after the loan has paid off. We did send you a lien release letter but as you explained it was not sufficient for the state of NY to process a new title for you. I am sorry that in your communicating the situation with our employees that the message did not get through. We will use this opportunity to counsel both employees on how to model the service that we expect and to serve our customers more effectively. Since this incident you have spoken to our titles supervisor [redacted] on Friday May 8th. She has located the Hawaii title to your motorcycle and has sent it overnight to your address at no cost. This title went out Monday so you should have received it today. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and frustration that this matter caused you and hope that we have now resolved to your satisfaction. Regards. [redacted]FreedomRoad FinancialConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)It's not that the message didn't get through, it got through just fined when I first paid off the loan. [redacted] received my complaint that Frf had the title and said that she would get back to me. O gave her two weeks to find it before calling back to no avail because she was always "unavailable". I am happy that I FINALY have a title in hand to give to the new owner of the vehicle. I'm not happy that I penalized $100 for not turning In the stub that was attached to the title within ten days of the sale that Freedom Road had all along and denied it for two months. No worries though because the buyer will also be fined when he goes to register it because the bill of sale says he bought it two months ago so I can't fake it on the title cause that would be illegal. Even though I will buy another [redacted] motorcycle soon I will make sure not to use Freedom Road nor will I allow my friends to.

Have not got a bill since February. Have. Called each month asking for a bill to be sent, none . Trying to make final payment ,but if they won't send bill how do I know I'll get my title . Have ask for a registered letter but they refused to send me one with my titleProduct_Or_Service: Arctic catDesired SettlementTo know I'll get my title or is this a scamBusiness Response Contact Name and Title:[redacted], DirectorContact Phone: 775-562-3820Contact Email: [redacted]Hi [redacted] - The reason you have not received a statement from us is because your loan has been paid ahead. When a loan is paid ahead then no payment is due and a statement is not generated and mailed out. This should have been explained to you when you called us. I apologize for any miscommunication on this matter. To update you on current status, we did receive a large payment from you recently. There is still a small balance left owing on the loan. That amount is $59.86. That pay off figure on the account is good through July 10th. Once we receive that amount then the loan will be paid in full and we will release our lien and send out the title to you. We normally send out titles via US Postal Service regular mail but we will send out yours via FedEx with a tracking number. I want to confirm the correct address that it should go to: [redacted]Can you please confirm that this is the correct address? Once you have paid off the remaining balance please feel free to contact me so that I can insure that the title is sent out right away. I will list my contact information at the end of this correspondence. Again, I am sorry for any misunderstandings and any inconvenience that this caused to you. Sincerely, [redacted]FreedomRoad Financial[redacted] Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)I have sent my last payment , when I get my title I will except this excuse. why did I call your company on a Monday , not getting a call back till late Wednesday evening your not that busy or are you to cheap to hire enough help. You need to think more about the people you work with than your bottom line. Something are better with less profit
