Review: On February 21st Freehold Movers picked up bedroom furniture that they moved previously into a storage container in Freehold for another customer. Knowing the nature of the size of the bedroom furniture since they originally placed it in storage for the other customer, they Freehold Movers were chosen to relocate the furniture to my location. These arrangements were made over the phone no one came out to the home from Freehold movers to provide an estimate for the move. I received a price quote over the phone, which included the distance to the storage facility, then to my location, unload furniture and return to their facility. Everything was explained in detail to [redacted] when the arrangements were made. I was charged above and beyond the quote price of over $600.00, and if I pay cash I'll get discount.

On February 21, 2015 Freehold Movers picked up the bedroom furniture at the storage facility then delivered the furniture to my location only sending two young guys. They had a hard time moving the furniture, broke my ceiling fan which had to be replaced, marked up my newly painted walls, scratched my newly finished floors etc. They left two large pieces on my main level because they were too heavy and needed a third man to move them to the upper level. Before leaving they informed me that they broke the marble top piece to my night stand, (which I never saw because they did not bring it into my house); and said they would have it fixed or replaced and bring it back with them along with a third guy to move my furniture. I have made numerous calls to Freehold movers and spoke with [redacted] who continued to pacify me by saying it is being fixed. I have called them on numerous occasions leaving them a message that the marble top was damaged, even on the Saturday that the movers came back in addition to, March 3, 2015, the week of March 9th, March 16th, 2015, on March 22nd, 2015. I NEVER recieved 1 call back.Desired Settlement: On March 16th, when speaking to [redacted] I expressed to her that they have had my marble top since February 21st, it does not take 5 weeks to fix, am I not getting it back or not, should I have it replaced and send the bill to you for your insurance company etc., then as I am speaking to her & [redacted] the owner picks up the phone and starts yelling at me to stop calling his office, you’ll get the marble piece when you get it, I just wanted to know when I would receive my marble top back. [redacted] proceeded to tell me to not call his office aagain, and told [redacted] to hang the “Fxxxxing” phone up on me, and said to her twice hang up the phone as she was on the extension. I think [redacted]’s behavior is unacceptable, unprofessional, and he has my furniture/property that he is refusing to return to me. Freehold Movers has given me no choice but to file this complaint as his workers broke my property is refusing to fix or replace it, and his language is abusiveness and appalling. I want my marble top
