Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/10/23) */ Its been yearsI gave her a year warranty with the building of the deckAfter years of not maintaining the deck, she requested me to replace warped boardsI had sent a painter out to paint the garage floor which was another project we had agreed uponBut every time I would plan the date of the project,she would tell me something came upThen she told me she had tried to reach me two weeks after building the deck but my phone number has always been the same and I never received any calls or messages from herWhen I called her I finally was able to schedule a painter to do the garage floorThen she asked if I would look at the deckI told her I was busy but would look at it on the weekend which was my day offSo when the painter went to paint the floor, she had him do other thingsShe then told me I needed to pay himSo I got up with him and paid him what we had discussed for him doing the garage floor thinking that it was completedThen I found out it had not been startedHe went over and finished the garage floor after I scolded him over doing things not pertaining to our agreementThen I told her she needed to pay him for time on the other projects for which I did not send him there to doThen she started sending me nasty texts on the quality of my workmanshipSo I decided that the way she started treating me, I could not go to the house to look at the deckI told her if she did not quit sending those threats that she was sending I would take my phone to the police station and file papers against herI know after the warranty had expired, I did not have to look at the deck, but my intentions are to take care of my clients to the highest standardsI cannot work on a project the rest of my life if the homeowners do not maintain it

We are sorry that Mr*** is wanting us to furnish a license plumber to do work that was never put on my original work order list. Mr*** had us install a garage door opener and do some minor jobs around his house. Then Mr*** sent me an email stating that I didn't use all of
the pieces on the garage door opener and that the p-trap under the bathtub was leaking. He never told us to change it over to PVC. Then Mr*** went through Angie's List telling them that the garage door opener was deemed bad by a garage door installer. But if Mr*** wanted a license plumber in the beginning he should of hired one but not at Freeman Custom Builders expense. We did what Mr*** asked and we feel like the transaction was legitimate and we do not feel as if Freeman Custom Builders owes Mr*** any more at this time. Thanks, Joe Freeman
