Dear Revdex.com:[redacted]

[redacted]I represent Freeman Enterprises, LLC. My client strongly disputes the allegationsof [redacted]. My client has worked diligently to complete the contract with Mr.[redacted]. All work has been done in a good and workmanlike manner. My clientcompleted substantial work on this contract and has been unable to satisfy Mr. [redacted]'sunreasonable demand. My client has been dealing with this matter on several fronts andMr. [redacted]'s actions have included filing a complaint with the DPOR, seekinginstigation of criminal charges with the Fairfax County Police, and this complaint to theRevdex.com.

Review: On November 10, 2014, I signed a contract with Freeman Enterprises, LLC for $35,200. To date, I have paid Freeman Enterprises $30,200. I would estimate that this project is roughly 40% complete. Based on the lack of progress of work done at my home, I had several discussions with Mr. [redacted], requesting that we terminate the contract amicably. Mr [redacted] specifically told me he was short on manpower for my contract because of a $300,000 job he was performing in Flint Hill, VA. Specifically, on January 23, 2015, Mr. [redacted] told me by telephone, I am done. You will hear from my lawyer. Hearing this, I naturally assumed he was abandoning the project. For this reason, later that day (1/23/15), I sent Mr. [redacted] a text message asking that he provide me with his state contracting license number, his response was I have a state contract license and a [redacted] business license but my lawyer will be handling this from now on. I have this in writing. It was then that I learned that Freeman Enterprises LLC, does not hold the proper credentials to perform a job priced at $35.2k. I believe he misrepresented himself and his company, offered a contract he is not licensed to offer, and has received the majority of the funds for a contract he has not done the work for and has no intention of returning to complete.Desired Settlement: A state appointed licensed contractor will provide an estimate; this number will reflect what it will cost me to complete this project, based on the signed contract.
