I feel that Freestate should give me $of complimentary gas because one of their employees tried to steal $from me by not giving me the proper change until AFTER I called the Montgomery County Police It was very embarrassing to be told that "it is unclear" as to what funds were issued during the transaction by the second employee who reviewed the camera in the back of the store Since it was "unclear" as to whether I gave the cashier $40.00, yet he inconvenienced me by having me to wait for his colleague to come to work to review the camera and I wasted minutes of my time that I never will get back, I believe the penalty for the business should be to give me $worth of gas which is what I originally came to purchase However, I left HUMILIATED after a minute ATTEMPT TO STEAL MY MONEY and my tank as 1/full Technically, I should ask for $#worth of free gas which would be a $for every minute of wasted time that I endured, but my gas tank will only take a maximum of $ Since I cannot get an apology from the owner, the free gas in the amount of $will suffice.Thank you

December 18, 2015Dear [redacted],
I am responding on behalf of Freestate Petroleum Corporation for a complaint that was submitted to the Revdex.com on [redacted] and was assigned an ID of [redacted].
Unfortunately, this is the first correspondence that either senior management or station management has received in reference to this incident. We received your letter dated 12/14/15 on 12/17/15. I am conducting a full investigation into the circumstances of the complaint attached to your letter.
So far I have conducted an interview with one of the employees in question and he told me that he was unsuccessful in retrieving the footage and voice on our security system at the time of the incident, but that he asked the customer for her name and phone number so that mgmt. could contact her the next day. He stated that she refused to give him that information. If she had given us that information the station manager would have viewed and listened to the footage immediately and responded appropriately to the customer involved. 1 let that employee know that he should have offered her the station number and managers name when she refused to leave her information, have yet to speak with the other employee involved but intend to do so this weekend when he comes in for his shift.
Please understand we are a cash only business and our employees do make mistakes as well as our customers, but we try to rectify any complaints and make things right. We do have a camera placed over the cash register that corresponds to audio and other cameras in and outside the station to clear up any situations that may arise in the amount or type of bill paid for fuel. We use this tool whenever a discrepancy arises. Both employees and customers are on our security system at all times. We have since had our recording devise updated with a newer system so will have to go and retrieve our other devise and find the incident so we have the full story.
Freestate has been in business for over 35 years and pride themselves in honesty, low fuel prices and customer service. I can assure you that our employees were not trying to steal the customer's money. Both employees involved are long time employees, and have never had this type of incident occur let alone been accused of stealing a customer's money.
In the meantime I am sorry that this customer had this experience at our gas station, that is not what we intend, and our employees know this. Regardless of what the outcome of my investigation finds I would like to extend my sincerest apology to the customer and offer her a $25.00 gift certification as a customer relations gesture.
Sincerely,
Kathy S.
