Freeway Custom Cleaners

Took 5 pairs of pants to be hand pressed with heavy starch and upon picking them up they had deep set in wrinkles that had been machine pressed in. On July 3 I took my husbands pants to be hand pressed an heavily starched in order to be boot camp ready. I picked up the pants on July 5th and upon inspecting them the pants had extremely bad deep set in wrinkles that had been caused by machine pressing them. The lady that was there told me she called her training supervisor and she said she couldn't do anything. She called her main boss and he didn't answer. She told me "they were so bad she wouldn't even want to pay for them". She agreed that they were horrible. She offered to send them back but I wouldn't have them till Monday. I declined because my husband was leaving on Sunday morning. I then paid her $20 with my debit card. I had to wash the pants twice, steam iron the wrinkles out, and then with the help of two other people we starched the pants. I proceeded to return to Freeway cleaners on Monday furious at all the trouble I had to go through to fix my husbands pants so he could leave. The manager [redacted] looked at the pictures of the pants and couldn't believe how horrible they looked. She said she had never seen something so bad. She gave me her email to send her the pictures so she could show their boss and said she'd call me. On Tuesday the 9th she called and said he said he wasn't refunding, that I should have sent the pants back. (I was in no position to send them back with the time constraint). Desired SettlementI am out of gas, time, a new can of starch, two loads of lester and detergent on these pants that I had already paid to be taken care of. I am requesting reimbursement of 5 pairs of pants for $20 that was charged to my card. Business' Initial Response [redacted]'s pants had elastic at the waist. We couldn't press out the wrinkles or else it would mess with the elastic. For the desired quality, the pants should have been under dry-clean instead of laundry. We can't give a refund because we have already done the work. However, we can dry-clean two of those pants for free to see if dry-cleaning would work for them.
