I understand based on the mileage of the vehicle that you purchased that our only option was to sell A Ford Powertrain warranty. Unfortunately, the injector that failed was not covered under your limited warranty. While...

I know that this a catastrophic repair and that we could have done a better job explaining that all internal lubricated parts are covered in the engine(this is an external part). We have agreed to have the vehicle towed back to our facility and repair it at our cost. You will be responsible for any deductibles that would have been due if it was a warranty repair. As I spoke to American Van Lines on the phone he did say to turn it in to the insurance. How do you turn in stuff you did not receive? Things that were not even on the manefest of my belongings. He assured me everything would be shipped by them never mentioning that they would sub it out to someone else. My stuff was left. The Pella window which was still in the original wrapping from Lowes went on that FIRST truck and I never saw it again and it was never put on the paper work along with the other things I had previously mentioned. I am still finding things that did not make it to my new home. I didn't get all my books that not including the ones I put in the big trash cans to make it easy to load and unload. I lost my temper with him on the phone as it was a repeat from before I opened this when I tried to talk to him before. Same thing He sounds like he wants to do something but I am being stubborn and not working with him. Thats not true. He has 2 faces here and I met both. Just because I am 71 does not mean I am senile. My sister tried to talk to him also. If the stuff got broke or stolen because of his people ,he needs to own it. I already seen some of that damage and they just tossed it in one of their boxes upside down in fact damaging my stuff more. The guy that was suppose to be writing everything down was running up and down stairs all day and those guys were not waiting for him. Insurance is not going to pay for something that they do not have a weight on and they want a copy of the manefest. Trash cans became containers , containers became boxes numbers doubled, tripled some had none. He guaranteed me my stuff would make it and it didn't. so we need to come up with something because now I am spending alot of money replacing what he said isn't there!! where is it?? ]

In response to [redacted]’s  concerns about her move we have contacted her and reassured her that she has the right to go through our Claims department . We take customer service very seriously at All American Van lines Inc. and try very hard to please all our customers. [redacted] is welcome to call us  so we can give her all the information she needs to get her claim started. We are open 8a.m to 6p.m  Monday thru Friday, Hope to hear from her so we can have another satisfied customer at AAVL, Thank YouAll American Van Lines Inc.[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: immediately after the movers left Nesconset for Long Beach, I went back into my apartment  to find that my computer tower, monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer and shredder were gone. No one could have entered the apartmentat any time in the few minutes I went to my car  without passing me. If I had been under less stress I would have had sense enough to confront them when they finally arrived in Long Beach. By the way, I sincerely believe I probably could go to Montauk point using local roads in one hour and 45 minutes. I am a 79 year old woman, who was moving alone, without help and had to cope with a new episode of skin cancer requiring MOHS surgery  just prior to moving. I do not suffer from any cognitive impairment. If I had not been so thoroughly exhausted or had help, I'm sure nothing would have disappeared. I feel that the three "All American" movers took advantage of my situation. The offer of $75 is frankly an insult. I believe that people should know what can happen if one is not on top of things.

[Some of the facts of my complaint were misrepresented.  My piano is a BABY GRAND AND NOT a concert grand piano.  I was offered storage of my piano in Long Island (with a storage fee).  I told the crew to store it in my garage.  8 men came because 2 crews were required to obtain the 6 men who moved the piano to my apartment. I received a response yesterday from their insurance company and I will be compensated $3 for my lamp.Your Answer Here]
