Dear Revdex.com,
First off, we apologize for the delay. Your prior emails were sent to our companies new SPAM filter. I have changed the setting this morning so this should no longer occur.
Ms. [redacted] indeed did pay off her vehicle on Nov 19, 2014. Our policy is to allow up to 15 days for funds to...

clear.
Her title was ordered and received. We spoke with her on to verify her address and it was mailed on 1/2/2015. Unfortunately we can not control the delivery performance of the US Mail.
The only process that and be done at this point is to create a lien release from Freeway Funding (that requires a Notary) and she will need to take into DMV or AAA and request duplicate title.
Freeway Funding will cover as a courtesy the cost of a Notary and will overnight her this document ASAP.
Please feel free to contact me directly.

After a thorough review of this consumers complaint, we have decided to waive the one remaining late fee on her account, in addition to the five adjustments we have made previously, in the interest of customer...

satisfaction. Going forward, the consumer must understand that any future fees incurred will not be waived, and that any future fees incurred are due and payable immediately. Making the regularly scheduled payment when there are outstanding fees does not fully satisfy her monthly obligation and will continue to post late fees until the account is brought completely current, which means the regular payment plus any outstanding fees due. With regard to the consumer not understanding why her initial check was returned by the bank, we have enclosed a copy of the processed check marked Refer To Maker” which in effect is a stop payment order placed by the account holder, not the bank. Again, all fees assessed to this account have been reversed on a one-time basis in the interest of customer satisfaction; however, any future fees that may be assessed must be paid in full when they are due. First Payment Date: 08/21/2014 1st payment made on 8/21/2014 Check returned (Refer to Maker) 1st Payment tendered again on 9/22 /2015 late fee added-payment was for payment less late fee. 2nd payment made on 9/22/2014 -  still not covering previous late fee. 3rd payment made on 10/27/2014 - still not covering late fee. 4th payment made on 12/01/2014 - 10 days late-still not covering late fee. 5th payment 12/23/2014 - still not covering late fee. 6th payment made on 02/02/2015 - still not covering late fee. 7th payment made on 2/27/2015 - still not covering late fee. 8th payment made on 3/24/2015 - still not covering late fee. Fees previously waived 8/21/2014 $8.95 Convenience Fee to process ECheck                  $8.95 8/26/2014 $15.00 NSF Fee Bounced - Check                                  $15.00 9/2/2014   $14.30 Automatic Late Fee                                         ... 3/5/2015   $ .72    Automatic Late Fee                                         ... .72 4/2/2015   $ .72    Automatic Late Fee                                         ... .72                                         ... _________                                         ...          $39.69 2/22/2015 is the only outstanding late fee on the account in the amount of $14.30, this amount has been waived as of Today.

Revdex.com:
I want to thank your organization for helping me with this
situation.  I feel strongly that without your help, I would still be
dealing with this issue.  I received the paperwork yesterday, so I can get
my title.  I do not feel it is necessary to address the other claims that
they have made, but I do still feel that their customer service department
needs proper training.
Thank you again and please consider this matter closed.

Unfortunately, due to privacy issues regarding financial transactions we are unable to provide a third party with any specific account information without written authorization from Mr. [redacted]
What we are able to disclose is that Mr....

[redacted] contacted our office twice on 4/27/2015. The first call was at 8:33 am, and the second call was received at 9:41 am. A previous call was received by a relative of Mr. [redacted] on 4/24/2015, at 4:33 pm; however, that caller is not an authorized party on the account.
Mr. [redacted] was provided the information he requested on both occasions. He did not like the answer he was given on his last call and hung-up on our representative. Mr. [redacted] is obviously in possession of our number, and he is free to contact anyone he wishes to speak with during our normal business hours.

Customer continues to have his wife (an unrelated 3rd party to the contract) call in on his behalf. We have asked that written authorization be provided so that we may speak to her; however, it has still not been provided.
Customer called in on 4/11/2016 at 1:10 pm and was advised that we are...

unable to accept any further checks due to prior return issues. Customer was rude and asked for a supervisory response. The file was put under review on 4/11/2016 at 1:12 pm. A phone follow-up and an email response were sent to the customer on 4/12 at 2:41 pm advising him on the process for making his payment via MoneyGram.
No late fee has ever been recorded on this account. The customer has many payment options including money order, Pay-Near-Me, MoneyGram, or a bank check (certified funds). The email response to the customer is shown below:

--------Update 4/21/15-------------------------
Subsequently spoke to customer and explained that we would again accept his e-checks. Explained that if any future checks are returned an NSF fee will apply to the account and check acceptance will be suspended permanently.

Freeway Funding shouldn’t be a financing option at any dealer! Mathew is the only person who’s actually respectful and responds courteous! I know they have their “own” ways of running business but have zero compassion nor respect for their clients whatsoever! My car was repossessed last night and according to them it takes 24 hrs to receive invoices and give you a total fee of I need to pay to get my car back! Meanwhile fees keep adding up while my vehicle is at the impound! Great way to make money I would say! Can’t wait to finish off my loan soon!

I have a car payment through them as well I called to explain I've been out of work just had a baby I was a few days latearlier on my payment and they added the late fee which they never stated so I paid my payment of 323 and am being threatened over 15.00 I owe for a late fee. This place has horrible customer service I give them no stars

Review: I received a text from Freeway Funding saying my vehicle isn't secured unless I call them ASAP so I called them to find out what was going on. They informed me I had a balance owed of $15 for insufficient funds from August which I informed them my bank sends out my checks so it's not possible the funds weren't available because a bank isn't going to send a check with funds not available. I was tranferred to another rep who tried to tell me the same thing and then I remembered when I first bought my car the first payment to the loan company was kicked back because my bank didn't do e-checks and I wasn't aware and that was taken care of and the fees were waived because we didn't know my bank didn't do that type of check. He then proceeded to tell me that no it wasn't insufficient funds now supposedly it was a late payment from February. I said my payments are always paid on time or within my grace period and he said it was received late, on February 2nd which I told him I would send a bank statement proving the money came out of my account January 26th and it was due the 22nd so I know it wasn't late and I was within the time. He argued for a while and I asked for a manager. The manager tried to say the same thing and I explained the same thing I did to the last rep. She then told me they didn't received my application for a new pay system until April 4th which was untrue since I used that pay system to make my payment on March 24th and received my confirmation code for the system in the beginning of March. I told her they keep telling me different stories and I'm not sure what's true or what there actually looking at because the information is all false. The manager told me she would look into my file but there's no guarantee she could waive the late fee. So right now I am being threatened to have my car repossessed over $15 that I dont owe and I did submit proof to the manager that my payment came out on the 26th of January. I also never received any communication that a payment was late.Desired Settlement: I would like to have that fee waived and removed from my account since I have proof my payment was on time.

Review: In May of 2010, I purchased a car that was financed through Freeway Funding, Inc (previously named Infinity Funding). The car was repossessed in November 2011. The balance I owe (stated on my credit report) is $11,287, which is the same amount prior to the repossession. I contacted them most recently on April 24th 2014 and spoke with two representatives about having them apply the amount recouped from selling the vehicle to the balance. I told them I saw recently on my credit report that the balance has not changed since before the repossession, and told me I would need to contact the credit bureau if I wanted those numbers updated and they could not give them to me. They told me if I spoke to a lawyer and was being represented (which I was not), then they could no longer speak to me about my loan..and then hung up. I have not been notified if or when the vehicle was put up for auction over the past 3 years, or how much the vehicle sold for so my balance could be adjusted.Desired Settlement: I would like the paperwork showing when the vehicle was sold, and how much it was sold for. I would then like that amount to be applied to the balance prior to repossession. I would also like this information reflected on my credit report as well, with the updated balance.I must stress the importance of the legal proof of how much the vehicle sold for. I do not trust what these people tell me, I want the written documents mailed to my home address.

Review: I paid my vehicle off in early November 2014. I called Freeway Funding in mid-December asking for my Title to my vehicle. They said they were busy and that I should get in in January 2015. I called again on February 3 letting them know that I have not received my title. They are stating it was sent to me by US post office. I told that I did not receive it and now they want to charge me $26.00 for a filling fee so they can issue me my title. I asked them for proof of them sending the information to the DMV and they will not provide me any information. The department that handles this issue never has returned my call. Her name is Laura. The only employees I can get to talk you are the employees who work in collections. I have spoken to Hector and Heather who need to put me on hold to ask someone what they should do. I feel I am getting the run around and that this is fraud. I paid my car off with never one late payment and feel I deserve better treatment and I want my title. Now I have to go to the DMV to ask them how I can handle this since they wont give me proof that they released my information. I would not use this company for any financial needs ever. Their customer service is horrible.Desired Settlement: I would like proof that information was sent to DMV or for my title to be sent to me.
