July 21, 2017Ms [redacted] Revdex.comHoliday Drive, Suite 200Pittsburgh, PA 15220RE: Complaint ID # [redacted] Dear Ms [redacted] :As per our earlier conversation and my previous letter, please accept this letter as our concluding report of the above referenced complaint.As I previously reported, we towed Ms [redacted] vehicle to our dealership at our expense on Thursday, July 13, with Ms [redacted] ’s permissionWe began work on the vehicle Monday, July 17, engaging General Motors in the hope that they would assist in the cost of the repairGM did agree to pay 30% of the approximately $repair and we made the decision to absorb the balance of the repair cost, thereby providing a complete repair of the problem at no cost to Ms [redacted] We completed the work on Thursday, July and Ms [redacted] picked up her vehicle from our dealership.We would like to mention that our policy is to test drive every repaired vehicle, a common practice to verify the repairs are completeDuring the test drive, our service manager noticed the vehicle’s engine oil monitor was showing “0” Oil Life Remaining, an indication that an engine oil change is necessaryHe discussed this with Ms [redacted] , with the thought she many want to have the oil changed while the vehicle was hereShe declined to have the work done, which is her certainly her optionOur service manager did point out to her that engine damage could occur should a vehicle be driven too long with a low oil conditionWe added that information to Ms [redacted] 's final invoice for her recordsIt is our hope that she will act on the recommendation as soon as possible to avoid any possible problems.We believe that we have responded to Ms [redacted] problem and satisfied her outlined desired settlementShould you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.Sincerely yours,Jim Crivelli Chevrolet/Inc.Joseph *H***Controller
