Revdex.com called business to follow up on this complaint and spoke to [redacted] , the owner, who said this matter was taken care of yesterday when he went to the consumer's house and filled a crack in the sidewalk

MrFrench has claimed that due to the severe winter and salt, all driveways are disintegrating and I disagree fully with that statement I am attaching pictures of a neighbor’s driveway that was done before ours [redacted] pictures) as well as a neighbor’s driveway that was done after ours ( [redacted] **.) As the pictures show, my neighbor's driveways have not suffered as our driveway shows [redacted] driveway pictures) It is apparent to me that French Construction can and has done exceptional work as shown in my neighbor’s driveways It is my challenge that either the materials used on our driveway were of a less than satisfactory grade or the installation of our driveway was not done correctly I wish to be an advocate for Mr French's business as opposed to an adversary and again respectfully ask that he stand by the quality and workmanship of his product by fixing or replacing my driveway Regards, [redacted]

We did respond to siding needing fixed The siding I has been repaired I'm not sure what happen about show up except had bronchitis , a message was left, sorry if he'd did not receive it

I explained to Mrs*** that the spalding on the bump-out on their driveway was a result of salt from their car setting in the same spot over the winter You could see were the car had set and salt from car had damaged the driveway I explained to her that we can not be held
responsible for such damage The driveway was placed in 2011, damage did not show up for two years, after a especially severe winterWe are still available this spring to power wash and apply another application of cure & seal Thought response time was within days, sorry for delay

We looked at other driveways in the neighborhood By far the vast majority of driveways show damage due to salt and severe weather Driveways showing less damage is a result of not parking over long periods when salt is being applied in winter weather ***'s driveway shows little if no damage by the approach and in front of their garage doors, that's a result of cars not setting there and dripping salt in the winter time If you look at any concrete that is exposed to salt over harsh winters they show varying degrees of spauldingWe sympathize with Mrs***, but we can be held responsible for damage from salt and severe weather, the driveway is structurally sound

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

*** *** *** (***) is sending a technician out first of next week to fix any issue with siding.This is the first time the issue of garage door or service door has been brought to my attention

Item#1 (siding) Again there was attempt to fix siding. Which was not done properly. I was the one that called [redacted] and talked to [redacted]. During our conversation he told me trim strip should be all across top. And on all sides of garage. At that time he said he would send someone out and to instruct proper installation of product.Item#2 (Service door) Yes thiis has been discussed with company. When door was first installed I pointed this out. I was told to stop jumping the gun on items until garage was finished. At final payment I again pointed this out. I was told by son that he had never seen a garage door close exactly right. At that time I told him [redacted] built my house and it had over 16 doors and none closed like that one. At that time he told me it would be fixed. We have proposal from company (Shim and realign garage door to open and close properly cost $125.00)Item#3 Overhead garage door. As stated in earlier email this was disscused with company. Not right door per contract.We have proposal from garage door company (Remove wrong [redacted] door install [redacted] cost $950.00)

Item #1 Siding was attempted to be repaired .......again put nails right through siding to hold in...

place not done properly. French Construction said was unable to get sub contractor to return to job site to fix. And that they were going to take them to court. [redacted] and his son have tried to fix and have admitted they are not siding guys, that's why they always sub this out.Item #2 Service door not level unable to latch hits at top, have to slam to close. Shakes garage so bad blew light bulbs. They agreed to fix this when final payment was made.Item #3 Overhead garage door does not match house. Sub contractor installed wrong ( manufacture) door. Installed with [redacted] door  should of been [redacted] Again when installed wife and I pointed this mistake out. Was told they had contacted garage door company it would be replaced. When told this we went ahead and made final payment. Because it was a special order door would be 2 weeks for door to be ordered.Per contract all materials were to match house. Have copy of contractMr. [redacted] also told City of Grove City at variance meeting of items that were to be used. City of Grove City can provide date and minutes of meetingLetter from HOA also states all items are to match house French Construction received copy of letter. Can provided letter.
