The person making the complaint lives next door to a vacant lot which my company purchasedThey do not live in a house that my company builtAt the outset of the new house's construction, this person expressed their extreme displeasure that a house was going to be built on the lot next door to themI was unaware of any incident that occurred on the referenced date of this Revdex.com complaint until I was contacted by the Revdex.comI was not contacted personally by this person, nor have I had a conversation with this person since Spring The area of complaint is a tire track left by a concrete mixer that was trying to keep the street clear for vehicular trafficThe tire track is located in the State and Utility right-of-way (between the drainage ditch and the street) and therefore is not part of the actual private property of this personHowever due to the fact that residents of this neighborhood choose to maintain/landscape the Public rights of way in front of their properties, I can have the landscaper take a look at the affected areaIf he thinks he can smooth the tire track, and spread some grass seed, he will do so

Hello, I was not sure how to address this complaint because this person is not a customer of mineHe is unhappy that the lot next door is no longer vacantI have had almost no contact with himHe has my phone number, yet he has not called me after his initial calls early in construction to tell me how he wished I didn't exist and how the new house was going to ruin his lifestyle The area that he cites as damaged is in the State right of wayThis means that it's public property, not his personal private propertyI am sure that the Sheriff told him this when he called themThis neighborhood is in the county, so it has ditch drainage instead of curb and gutter/sewerThe concrete mixer truck was parked with a wheel in the right of way to keep the road accessible to other trafficThis person also declined to allow the concrete company to work on the tire trackHis wife cussed them out and told them to get off her "property" This is an upscale neighborhood where the homeowners maintain the rights of way with landscaped grassI've talked to all surrounding neighbors during the construction process and told them that I'd be glad to fix any tire tracks at the end of construction, not because I am required (because I am not) but because it's the neighborly thing to doI don't understand why this one homeowner could not come directly to me and decided his first step should be a public forum

The response from this builder is a clear depiction of how courteous they have been throughout their process of building in our neighborhood
Let me start by addressing her opening comments regarding my displeasure with them building a home directly on the property line next to mineI did at the onset make the builder aware I was concerned with the privacy of my family and whichever family choose to buy this home given its placement and wondered what plans if any had been made for landscaping to provide some sense of privacyIt was very clear at that moment, there was no thought or plan in place nor a careThat set the tone moving forward during this paycheck to paycheck build process that is nearing a year for a pretty basic and simple home
This builder claims that they were unaware of any damage done or incident in generalThis is laughable given the fact she was there when the incident started (trucks in question completely blocking our entrance to the driveway/builder standing there doing nothing to move her contractors out of the way**not the first time**)That aside, she has made the identical comment her concrete contractors made when the damage took place
"The tire track is located in the State and Utility right-of-way (between the drainage ditch and the street) and therefore is not part of the actual private property of this person"
I find it odd that two companies make the same non sensible comment if the builder was completely unaware
The bottom line is this, you are a nonresident building in our neighborhood and should use common courtesy as well as common sense to do as little harm as possibleYou have not only disturbed my home but the neighbors as well, hence the markers in all the yards surrounding your property in a attempt to keep your contractors clear of those areasTake responsibility for your subs actions and apologize, finish your build, landscape and sell the property
Problem solved

The person making the complaint lives next door to a vacant lot which my company purchased. They do not live in a house that my company built. At the outset of the new house's construction, this person expressed their extreme displeasure that a house was going to be built on the lot next door to them. I was unaware of any incident that occurred on the referenced date of this Revdex.com complaint until I was contacted by the Revdex.com. I was not contacted personally by this person, nor have I had a conversation with this person since Spring 2016. The area of complaint is a tire track left by a concrete mixer that was trying to keep the street clear for vehicular traffic. The tire track is located in the State and Utility right-of-way (between the drainage ditch and the street) and therefore is not part of the actual private property of this person. However due to the fact that residents of this neighborhood choose to maintain/landscape the Public rights of way in front of their properties, I can have the landscaper take a look at the affected area. If he thinks he can smooth the tire track, and spread some grass seed, he will do so.

Hello,
I was not sure how to address this complaint because this person is not a customer of mine. He is unhappy that the lot next door is no longer vacant. I have had almost no contact with him. He has my phone number, yet he has not called me after his initial calls early in construction to tell...

me how he wished I didn't exist and how the new house was going to ruin his lifestyle.
The area that he cites as damaged is in the State right of way. This means that it's public property, not his personal private property. I am sure that the Sheriff told him this when he called them. This neighborhood is in the county, so it has ditch drainage instead of curb and gutter/sewer. The concrete mixer truck was parked with a wheel in the right of way to keep the road accessible to other traffic. This person also declined to allow the concrete company to work on the tire track. His wife cussed them out and told them to get off her "property".
This is an upscale neighborhood where the homeowners maintain the rights of way with landscaped grass. I've talked to all surrounding neighbors during the construction process and told them that I'd be glad to fix any tire tracks at the end of construction, not because I am required (because I am not) but because it's the neighborly thing to do. I don't understand why this one homeowner could not come directly to me and decided his first step should be a public forum.
