Review: I pre-ordered a cake from Frenchs Pastry of Irvine for my daughters 15th birthday party. A week before my event I provided a sample of invitation to Frenchs pastry of Irvine and was advised that my simple design request would be done for the price they quoted me. I ordered a 1/2 sheet cake with a chocalate bavarian filling; On June 28th, I picked up my cake. The decoration was not like we had discussed. Regardless I paid for it because I assumed at least the inside of cake was correct. When I started to cut the cake for my guests it was falling apart crumbling, it did not even have the correct filling. It had something light brown and the cake was dry. They were closed on 6/29/14 so I called Frenchs Pastry of Irvine on 6/30/14 and spoke with an employee named [redacted]. I advised her of my issue and stated she would call the owner [redacted] about my full refund request. I even told [redacted] (and [redacted]) that I have pictures of this cake and that half of this cake was here in my home. No one wanted to eat it. [redacted] also provided me [redacted] email. I emailed [redacted] immediately and I did not receive a response. Then I received a call back from [redacted] the employee and she stated that she had spoken to [redacted], the owner, and that [redacted] stated that she would not be giving me a full refund. I then emailed [redacted] in regards to her denial of my full refund request and she has failed to respond to me by email or by phone.Desired Settlement: I want the owner to accept responsibility for her cake baker screw up and refund me my full amount that I paid for the cake which was 82.50.
