Review: I have tried numerous times to cancel my membership after the classes and trainers changed from this gym I was told by an employee every time I called that I needed to speak to the [redacted] I called over the past 6 months at least 15 times. In doing so I spoke with [redacted] mother who told me I needed to speak to her son. I called when he was supposed to be in and he never called me back. In asking how I can cancel my membership do to the fact that the only trainer I would go to for the classes, left there gym. in June 2013 was told I would have to pay 75 % of my remaining balance of my year contract. I agreed to the payment but was told that I still needed to speak with [redacted], because he was the one who would have to approve the cancellation. I also went to the gym twice with my busy schedule to go in person to the gym to see if I could catch [redacted] there and was told he wasn't there. When I was at the gym I explained I wanted to cancel and was told that I would still need to speak with [redacted]. I argued that he was never there and has never called me back. I was then told also that I would need along with the 75% balance and a doctors note. ( Which is against my rights and is a HIPPA Violation )if I agree to pay the cancellation fee that shouldn't be needed. I also wanted to make you aware that the gym is no longer even at this address [redacted] ( whereabout unknown) and I was never even contacted about a new location and about any classes being offered. I have stopped the automatic withdrawal this month due to the fact that I haven't gone to the gym in over 9 months and have been trying to cancel this member ship of over 6. they are no longer even a gym but they sent me emails requesting my monthly payment to a gym that no longer is at that location and never gave any forwarding information regarding the gym. This is just Horrible business. I have also contacted a lawyer.Desired Settlement: I would like to not be billed anymore for a service that I have not received in the past 6 months I believe that I have paid well over the 75% cancellation fee. I would also like for everyone to be made aware about how horrible this gym is and how they are ripping of alot of the previous clients. My year membership should end I believe in January 2014 I believe this is more then fair since I haven't gone to the gym and taken a class since march 2013. Thank you for your time.
