I do not understand the reason for this complaintThis is an unfortunate situation, and very disappointing as I felt that I was being very fair throughout the ordealI met with the homeowner and tried to discuss the situation rationallyI did not state that I would not refund the moneyNor did
not state that I had to pay my paintersIn fact, my painters were not paid and lost a day of workThe customer must have misunderstood what I saidWe agreed upon a start date for the work and as I always do, I purchased the paint prior to the start timeThe customer then decided they did not want the work doneThe paint when tinted a color is not refundableThis is at the expense of the customer, and I agreed to return what was remaining of the deposit after the paint purchase and left the purchased paint with the customerSo, I mailed the customer an amount of $150, which was in the form of a money orderI felt there was no reason to have further communication after unnecessary threats of legal action against my business and livelihoodI am an Army Veteran and have the utmost integrity and do what I say I am going to do, and so this is a personal attack of everything that I stand for
