My name is Susan D*** and I am the President of Fresh Designs Florist. We received a letter from you informing us that one of our brides fathers submitted a complaint to you about our shop. I would like to respondAfter years in our business we have never had a complaint like this. We delivered the flowers to this wedding in perfect condition. I saw them made and delivered them myself. The bride was thrilled! I have numerous pictures of this wedding that show that it was beautiful. In addition I gave this bride free centerpieces because when I arrived she had extra containers. So as I usually do, I provided more flowers for free. I have attached letters from the wedding planner that actually placed the flowers on the tables stating that the flowers were in perfect condition
The person complaining is the father of the bride. He called and said the flowers were dead at the church. I had delivered to the reception and my staff delivered to the house and church. I asked my staff if something had happened and she said at the flowers were perfect. The bride also was super excited with them and said she loved her bouquets. I asked her father to send us pictures since I suspected that he simply wanted money back undeservedly. I was hired by the bride and so I contacted her and said I would make her two arrangements for her home because even if I think there is no credence to the complaint I always offer something in good faith. My business partner talked with the bride and she said that she did not notice anything wrong with the flowers but that her father was inspecting everything for her
This man has been harassing us and I believe it is because we did not refund himInitially he said it was the church flowers and he sent a picture that showed an extreme closeup of the back of the arrangement. It looked fine to me but again I was happy to replace them. He then began saying that he wanted $dollars back for the reception flowers. I worked training customer service for five years before I started my business years ago and I have been known to refund people for just about anything because it is just good business. In this case I feel this man
is a bully who is used to complaining and getting money back. The bride was
happy and she was who hired us. We have a wonderful reputation and this
man is complaining without reason

Review: Here is an email I had sent without a response:Lisa & Sue, Needless to say, we are extremely disappointed in the quality of the flowers and also your response to our complaints.You had mentioned to Kelli that since there was no proof of dead flowers there can be no refund, allow me to counter that response, maybe dead is too strong but some of the flowers were limp, wilted or just not fresh , here are some details:1.AJs Mother went to a store to purchase flowers for the boutonnires because your flowers were not fresh, do you really think she wanted to do this?2.As Kelli & AJ were at the altar for pictures after the ceremony, I noticed the condition of the flowers up close that did not look good during the ceremony, I requested the photographer to discreetly take pictures of the flowers to show you. I think the picture is quite clear that the white flowers in the center of the picture appear wilted or with no life & the leaf with spots is in the middle of the arrangement. Again, do you think I wanted to do this as my daughter was having her wedding pictures taken & risk upsetting her?3.When we walked into the reception, my wife noticed the same condition for some of the flowers on the tables.4.We did not realize that we should have taken the flowers from the hotel, altar & the reception and then I guess drive them to your shop instead of going to the reception in order to provide the proof. On top of all of the above:1.I had called & left 2 messages without a return call & when I mentioned this to Lisa , it was like oh well ? Plus, during our conversation, I had to ask Lisa more than once if she was still there as there was silence when I mentioned items to her?2.When I asked where was the throw bouquet , I received 2 different answers .3.You contacted Kelli without the courtesy of telling me that you could not discuss with me even though it was my check that was cashed? [redacted]We are disappointed that we have not received a response to the below email.Please forward a refund check for $600.00 app. 1/3 of the total cost for the not fresh flowers.
