Review: I purchased an [redacted] Local Voucher to Carpet Cleaning Los Angeles for $89. I called ###-###-#### and made an appointment for August 1, 2013. Fresh & Green Carpet Clean showed up and I provided with the [redacted] Local Voucher and told him that was all I wanted. He recommended a Deep Shampoo Cleaning for an additional $150.00. My husband agreed to it. I was pretty surprise that he finished cleaning the carpet within 2 hrs; my house is a 5 bedroom, halfway and stairwell. But okay...I walked through the so called cleaned rooms and since they were still wet I couldn't see any dirt. The next day after the rooms were dried I noticed that the carpet was not cleaned appropriately. I could see more dirt than I did before he cleaned the carpet. I called the very next day and left a message indicating that I was not satisfied with the cleaning of the carpet. Three days went by and no return call, so I called again and spoke to [redacted] and explained to her the problem again and told her that I wanted someone to come back and clean my carpet, she indicated that she would pass on the message to the supervisor. Seven days had already gone by and no returned call; so I called again and [redacted] gave me an email address of [redacted] which is the email address to [redacted], I emailed him and never received a response. Although my receipt shows the charges of $89 and $42 which comes up to $131; They charged my Credit Card $150. My receipt shows from Fresh & Green Carpet Clean and at the bottom of the contract it shows the business name as [redacted].

I believe this business to be fraudulent and advertising a service that is not being satisfactory to the customer. I have checked several web pages on this business name and they have different names all over the place. They advertise as Fresh & Green Carpet Clean (freshandgreencarpetclean.com) ###-###-####, [redacted] San Diego, CA 92109. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I believe this business to be fraudulent and advertising a service that is not being satisfactory to the customer. They are a total scam and they need to be stopped. Innocent people are getting ripped off.

Review: Purchased Living Social for San Diego Carpet Clean: B. Carpet Steam Cleaning. Fresh & Green showed up. They recommended a deep steam so my husband authorized an upgrade. They did not clean the carpets properly. I believe they didn't use chemicals so the dirt was moved from one area to another and for another room, it looked exactly as it had before they cleaned it. I called 3 times and got an email address for the 4th attempt to contact and no one had gotten back to me. The woman who answered told me that she only schedules appointments but would give the supervisor Ron the message to contact me. After I hadn't heard back from any of the messages, I emailed [redacted]@gmail.com and still had no reply. I am into this for $89 to Living Social and $148 to Fresh & Green (the receipt says "carpet and upholstery" instead of Fresh & Green). Also, Living Social won't help me since I redeemed the voucher even though the voucher has a different vendor name.Desired Settlement: I am looking for a full refund from the vendor. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company for the $148 charge. I also want $89 refunded. I gave them an opportunity to get back to me to rectify the problem but I am selling my house and will have to have another vendor do the work properly.

The technician arrived to the customers' location, identified the stain on the

customers' carpet then advised the customer of wear and tear, permanent color

spots and stains. The customer then signed an analysis describing the condition

of the carpet in the house. The technician then started cleaning and removed as

much of the permanent stain as possible. After cleaning the carpet the customer

then signed the satisfaction form and then paid for the services.

We then returned to the house because the customer said the carpets did not

come clean and the process was started again as seen in the second form.

We have explained to her as we do with every customer that some stains are wear

an tear and permanent damage, they cannot be removed or cleaned, this is done

effort any cleaning is performed in the house. The customer has to sign the

form twice to make sure they understand this process as is shown at the bottom

of the form on the two signature spots.

Please adjust this chargeback to my account as I have provided all the

documentation showing that the customer was advised of this 2 times before

cleaning and signed the form fully knowing that this was the case.

Thank you for reviewing this.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

When the carpet was wet, it appeared to be cleaned. I specifically signed off on it noting that once dry, it may appear different. Although the specific dirt spot that I had re-cleaned appeared clean, another neighboring spot now was dirty from the dirty water they used. Additionally, one of the rooms where the technician claimed wear and tear is now dirtier as the deep dirt has risen to the surface. I refused to call them and instead kept my complaint. My house is for sale and I could not have wet carpets while packing and moving boxes and having the house shown to prospective buyers. They had two chances to get it right. I have covered the carpet where the original issues occurred so that the carpet doesn't get any worse than it is. The room where the other issue is, is not used often.

Therefore, I still claim that the service was not performed satisfactorily and refuse payment.

Regards,

Review: We puchased a [redacted] deal for carpet cleaning under a franchise so the work was outsourced to this company Fresh and Green Carpet Clean. They advertised carpet cleaning for 3 rooms for $49.95. Upon meeting the cleaner, his name is [redacted], we were shown other options that he indicated was "best" for our apartment which included: shampoo for $150 and deep cleaning for up to $200. We decide to stick with the [redacted] deal but then he says that the 3rd room cannot be cleaned because he had to climb up stairs. We did not want our stairs to be cleaned just the room, but he refused to clean thus eliminating our [redacted] deal for 3 rooms for $49.95.

What happens next truly disgusted us. [redacted] again tries to convince me and my roommate to go with the higher priced options even though we already told him to stick with the [redacted] deal. He becomes annoyed that we did not go with his advice so he goes back to his van to set up the cleaning equipment. He tries one last time to convince us to buy the deep cleaning and even lowers the price $40 for us. At this point, we are very turned-off by his antics and salesmanship and ask that he just stop trying to sell us and just do his job. [redacted] gets to work and not more than 10 minutes pass when he says that he finished. We check his work and find that not all of the carpet is wet or cleaned since we were watching him closely and noticed that he intentionally avoided certain areas in our living room. We asked [redacted] if he can go over these spots one last time but again he refuses saying that "He doesn't have the time".

We as roommates have made efforts in contacting his manager by contacting the 1-800 number. We have called and left messages a total of 5 times and yet to have receive any calls from the manager. We decide to place a review of this company on a website. In doing so, we come across several others which have experienced the same terrible service, some cases even worse.

This is our next step in filing a complaint towards this business. We hope that the Revdex.com can help us prevent this business from cheating out other potential customers. Thank you.Desired Settlement: We would like this company to honor their advertisement of cleaning 3 rooms for $49.95. We ask that they come back to finish the job or ask that we receive a refund.

Review: it took less than 10 minutes for the carpet cleaner to clean 2 rooms and a hallway. I have never had carpets cleaned before so I did not know if this was ok but suspected it was not. he left the carpet soaking wet and told me to wait 2-4 hours to move my furniture back. 6 hours later I still had water squishing under foot and almost slipped and fell twice walking into the kitchen. I spent over an hour trying to dry the carpet myself with my friend's steam cleaner. the next day the carpet was still damp and smelled a little. the service did nothing to improve my carpet. I still have stains and the one area I had an odor problem in one area. the guy who cleaned my carpet had called several times during the day to try to change my appointment to an earlier time. it seemed to me like he needed to be somewhere so he breezed through the job, which was scheduled at 4 pm. I called him that night but he did not answer or return my call. I have called the office every day this week to reach a manager but appearantly the manager is not onsite, the secretary has to send him a message. finally, yesterday the secretary gave me his email address but I have not received a reply from my email.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. I don't want these guys to come back and "fix" the problem because I don't trust that they will do a good job. I bought a living social voucher for $49. living social will not refund the money.

Review: I bought a coupon off of [redacted] for 49 dollars for a basic carpet cleaning on my 9 month old carpet. When they arrived they convinced me that I need the Deep Shampoo service for an additional 26 dollars. They assured me it would have the carpet clean as a whistle. They told me to pay them 75 dollars up front and that they will refund the [redacted] price of 49 dollars back to my amex. So a few days go by and I don't get my 49 dollars refunded back to my amex so I called them. They said I miss understood and the total was 124 and the 75 was an additional instead of the price. So by then my carpet is completely dry and now and it is just as dirty as before and it didn't remove any stains.Desired Settlement: I want my 124 refund.. Not only did I get scamed for the 49 bucks I also got a horrible service

Review: Purchased a [redacted] voucher for this company in the amount of $49. This purchase was for the "steam carpet cleaning of three rooms and one hallway". I called to make an appointment on 12/29/14. I made an appointment for the following day, 12/30/14 at a window of between 12pm and 2pm.

The technician arrived at my home the next day at 2 pm. After a brief tour of the rooms and hallway to be cleaned, the technician told me that a steam cleaning would not be adequate for my carpet. He calculated that a deep cleaning of the three rooms and hallway would cost and additional $149. He said that this service would remove the dirt stains from my carpet. We readjusted the calculation. Two rooms and one hallway would be deep cleaned and one room would get a normal steam cleaning treatment. The price for this service was an additional $100 on top of the voucher I had already purchased from [redacted]. We agreed on this final price.

The technician finished the job in about 45 minutes. Immediately afterward, the carpet was soaking wet and could not be walked on without squishing water all over the place. In this wet state, the stains appeared to have been removed from the carpet. I was told that the carpet would dry in approximately four (4) hours and that if I had any problems, I should contact the business.

Twenty four hours later the carpet remained wet and could not be walked on. Forty eight hours later the carpet was still wet, but I could see that the stains were returning. A full three days later, the carpet was reasonably dry and the stains had returned. The deep cleaned rooms and hallway looked exactly like the room that was only steam cleaned. More telling, all the rooms looked like the one room that had received no cleaning at all.

I placed a call to the business on 1/5/15. I explained the situation and was told that I'd receive a call from "[redacted]". No call came. Since then I have made repeated phone calls to the business and have been unable to make contactDesired Settlement: I desire a full refund of $100 for this service that accomplished nothing at best and, at worst, has left my carpet looking stained and feeling matted and dry.

Review: I bought the cleaning service through [redacted] for $49 but I am in the LA area. After purchasing the service, I was issued a voucher and called the number provided and set up an appointment. Apparently this is kind of a booking agency (carpet cleaning los angeles dot net) and they sent out Fresh and Green. First thing the guy did was explain what we bought and upsell us to the better service. We upgraded one level. He did explain that certain stains from furniture will not come out and he said there is a dry time of about 3 to 4 hours. We had most of the living room cleared and he volunteered to help us move our sectional sofa to the front lawn along w/ a love seat. In doing so, he took a chunk out of my front door. I made a notation to this effect on their receipt so it would be documented. I agree w/ the other complaint that when the carpet is wet it looks relatively clean. My issue w/ them is that nothing along the edge got clean nor was any tool used to try to get it clean. The stains that we had purchased the higher end service specifically to remove reappeared within a week. I've called this company over and over and e mailed until I have nothing left to say and not only has no one ever returned my call, no one has replied to my e mail. When the tech left ... he also left behind him a large puddle of muddy dirty water on my tile entry way. Also, he couldn't move the corner piece to the sectional so he jammed it into the wall into our entry way. Minor paint scuffs. I've asked for my money back and restitution for damages. I've called their office at least 10 times and never had any call back. The girl there is simply there to book appointments and that's it. And oh ya... at the end of his cleaning ... he then says, we don't take checks ... gee, it would have been nice to know that in the first place. There are bad reviews on this place all over YELP and some seem to think it is a scam... I'm beginning to agree. I'm all about being fair but when a company does not reply to both written and verbal requests ... it makes me wonder.Desired Settlement: Refund and restitution for repairs. And a letter or phone call would be nice too!

Review: This company advertises a $50 price to clean carpets for 2 rooms. When they showed up 2 hours late they assessed the job and claimed that just a couple of low visible stains requires an increase of $150 to do the job. This is a scam. I have read further reviews on yelp and many people have complained of similar circumstances. They are false advertising and have not resolved complaints to the Revdex.com. I waisted time missing work for this to loose money and not have my carpet cleaned. This business should be shut down for false representation and false advertisements. If I am to reconsider them they must do the job for free for me event o recommend them to other people. Which I would not do anyways.Desired Settlement: Do the job for free for me loosing time at work.

Review: I purchased a [redacted] for $47 that advertised 3 rooms of green steam carpet cleaning with scotchguard protection and deodorizer. I made an appointment for a week later at 4:00pm (or so I was told) and he let me know someone would contact me the day of my appointment to confirm. Well, 4:15 rolls around and no one calls me so I called them. They told me my appointment was at 5:00pm and that I was mistaken.

So the guy shows up at 5:30pm. I let him know I wanted to only do one room and a very small (4x4 hallway) and mentioned that my cats had mistaken the room for their litter box a few times in the past two months and that it kind of smelled (hence the deodorizer on the [redacted].) He told me he would try to get the smell out but that I would have to pay $79 extra and I told him no deal. Since I didn't do the 3 rooms he called his manager and got him to give it to me for $20 extra (on top of the $47 paid for the [redacted].) I had to leave but he finished up in about an hour my roommate said.

Days later I noticed the carpet that was "cleaned" was rough and grainy feeling, like all of the fibers had been stripped. I also noticed the smell was still there, not even a hint less than before they came. I called the number again. I asked if I could have a refund of just the $20 extra I spent since clearly the job paid for had not been done. He stated that they already spent my money and they "don't do refunds" but that he would call the technician and call me right back that day. Three days later I decided to call them back. I again explained my situation and requested a refund and was met with a response of "absolutely not" and "we do not guarantee any of our work." I then asked for the owners name and number and after a few times asking for an answer, I received [redacted] as the owner who "doesn't give out his number" and "doesn't get calls" but "calls you."Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the full $67.00 paid for services that were not completed. I am not asking for additional fees to repair the damage done to my home.
