contacted by *** *** because a pipe broke in her house causing major water damage and mold. I went to her house and inspected the loss. There was damage starting in the second floor bathroom, down to the first floor into the kitchen hall dining room, family room and living room. The rest of the water ended up in the basementI had a yd dumpster delivered which costs money. I never asked her for a penny at any time. It is customary to bill the insurance company directly as my contract states. The demolition job should take about weeks to do. This is an old farm house with layers of wall and flooring. To start the process of mitigation, we went there on a Saturday and removed the walls, ceilings and layers of flooring in the first floor hallway About pm , I started feeling ill with fever. *** *** , as registered nurse noticed that and understood that I had to go homeI also had men working with me that day. A total of 6 hours with menWe left the hallway clean and safe to walk on before we left I explained to *** ***, that her clothing should be cleaned due to mold all over her house also in which you can smell itI have pictures to prove the extent of the mold. I informed her that there was a company CRDN that specializes in large clothing cleaning Mold grows on clothing because it is a good source of food and moisture She signed her own contract with them not me. There was a lot of clothing in this house. Once I call the clothes company , I have nothing to do with it any moreTo prove mold was everywhere, *** ***'s family had the ceiling fans and box fans running in the house. This very poor practice sends mold spores everywhere in the house and also creates a very unhealthy conditionWe placed a total of dehumidifiers in her house on different levels with an air scrubber which removes air borne particles from the air. This is a standard of the industry *** *** , her children and grand son have been fighting about this loss since they noticed itThe police were even called to break up the fighting. Everything was fine when I leftSunday , I received a call from her yelling at me. I know I did nothing wrong but I said I will come by and remove my equipment on Monday afternoon. When I got there, *** *** was upset that I did not remove the rug in the next room. This was further expressed by her son in law whom admitted has no experience in the industry. She also complained that she found some small pieces of dry wall in the floor ductThe duct was not cloggedShe also nit picked with a small piece of dry wall left on the 2xpetition. Again, I explained to her that I was only there day and I do not perform miracles, it takes a lot of time. I also pointed out to her that I was doing my job correctly when I show her the wood floor in the hallway we worked, it was starting to turn white which means that the drying process was working. When I see this it means that the mold is also dying . This is the goal I want to achieveThe son in law kept chiming in and yes I had to put him in his place because he wanted to bring friend in to do the job so they can pocket the money from the insurance company. While he was standing there, all he did was complain that we didn't take the rug out in one of the rooms off the hall that we mitigated . I responded that the hall way was more important and if he felt that the carpeting was a top priority than why didn't he remove the wood floor below it. It was only a mere tactic for their personal benefitThey complained about the heat duct in the floor had some drywall in it. My response was that water from the loss was in the ducts combined with mold and many years of dust .The ducts would have to be removed and replaced. Again and again , they had no answers for me when I responded with my professional judgment I am sorry to say but all their complaints were foolish and embarrassing to them This is why she claims that I was rude to her son in law I have been doing this as a certified technician for over years with no complaintsListening to that man, I hope the mold doesn't take over and the house gets more destroyedThese mold and water jobs have to be done by an experienced professionals onlyAlso, for the record, this house was inhabitable due to mold growing everywhere. As for my bills, I use an insurance company approved program on every job we do. If she feels that my bill is too high, let her produce her insurance company approved program estimate. What CRDN charges , has nothing to do with me. They also use the same program as I do. She nor her family has no clue what the going rates are for this kind of work. I was called by CRDN and they are returning her clothing to herI am sure that there will be a charge for their services. I did absolutely nothing wrong to these people. No company comes and works on people's houses without money upfront. I feel they are starting all this trouble so that they can profit from this job and because of the disputes the family is having with each other that I witnessed. If you speak to the insurance adjuster, I am sure he will tell you that my invoice is right in line with the work I did. According to *** ***, the mold was everywhere, but he did not bring in a hygienist, as is customary to verify the mold level prior to starting workThe importance of hiring a hygienist, came to me through Serv- Pro, who I hired after discontinuing *** ***’s services on Sunday 3/**/
*** *** did not mention during the time he was at my house that the fans and dehumidifiers should not be running, as they would blow the mold aroundIf he is a professional, as he is stating, I believe that would have been one of his recommendations immediately given to me
When I called on Sunday 3/**/15, to discontinue his services, he was badgering me to continue the servicesI told him of my many concerns including the floor vents that were now clogged with debris, because of the sloppy job that had been doneHe stated I would have to replace all the vent ducts anywayAs it turned out, the professionals I hired after him stated that my heating system did not have to be replaced
On Monday 3/**/*** *** arrived late in the afternoon to pick up his equipment and was quite belligerent towards my son-in-law and made inappropriate comments to him
*** *** submitted a bill for $6,to my insurance company and I immediately spoke to the insurance adjuster to voice my concerns about the chargesI received a copy of his *** ***’s bill and noticed charges for services that were not doneThe most glaring was $3,for the basement*** *** did not do anything in the basement, only the hallway on the first floor
I am bewildered as to why *** *** would have made up such blatant accusations about reference to my family, but I must say that this says a lot of about his character or lack thereof
All I want is for *** ***’s the bill to be fairly discounted since half of what is listed wasn’t done
I will await to hear back if this can be resolved amicably or notI wish to continue with the facts of the matter and not accusations about my character and the character of my family

Review: [redacted] stated that I can take one weeks worth of clothes. I proceeded to have them washed. I reviewed on Sunday 3/**/15 the work [redacted] did on Saturday 3/**/15. During review I found numerous issues. Clogged heating vents, wet carpets still in house, removal of all clothing and linens. Per my inspection I decided to cancel the contract. On the [redacted] notice was faxed stating same. [redacted] came late Monday afternoon to pick up equipment. At that time I spoke to him about the clogged vents in the hall and all clothing and linens that were taken. He was not accommodating with his answers. On Thursday 4/*/15 my insurance adjuster called to discuss claim. During conversation he told me of [redacted]'s charges to the insurance company along with the charges from the company cleaning the clothes and linen. The charges for his company was $7,000.00 and the other company was $20,000.00. After review the charges are excessive. The only work done by [redacted]'s company was a small hallway floor and walls. When [redacted] came on the [redacted] to remove his equipment he was very rude to my son in law.Desired Settlement: The desired income is a large reduction in both bills.
