On March 5, 2015, [redacted] purchased a three wheel tricycle from our store. She requested that we deliver it to her since she had no way to get it home. Normally we do not offer a delivery service, however our employee [redacted] did agree to...

take it to her house after work.
When he arrived at the address that she had given him, she was not there. He then proceeded to call the two phone numbers that she had given him. One of which had been disconnected and the other was to an ex-husband in Los Angeles. The ex-husband gave [redacted] a different address to deliver to. [redacted] drove around for an hour and a half attempting to make the delivery. It was at night, in the dark and in not a very good part of town. After his inability to find her, he brought the tricycle back to our shop.
We did not hear from her for almost 6 weeks. She called our store and demanded that the trike be delivered at that moment. [redacted] explained to her that he could not deliver it until after work and that if she wanted it right then, that she needed to come and pick it up. She then stated, "if you cannot deliver it right now, then give me my money back." [redacted] explained that we do not give cash refunds, only store credit. He asked her for an address and a phone number so that he could call her after work for delivery. She refused to give it to him and hung up on him after telling him that she was going to call the police.
We have not heard from her since, except from this letter. We have been storing her trike this entire time.
At this point we can either deliver her the trike or give her a refund. We feel that this is been an unfair situation. Based on all the misinformation she has given us.

I thank you for your professional response. It is acceptable for the Schwinn dealer to issue me a check to reimburse my cash payment for a bicycle and mail to my mailing address at [redacted] Shaver [redacted] CA XXXXX
