Review: On Monday July 22, 2013, I heard a knocking noise when I started my car so I call a friend over to take a look at my car. He stated it might be the motor mount and to take my car into a autoshop. So I took my car Toyota Corolla 2007 to Affordable Automotive. I have previously done my breaks, and driver's belt there. I went there in the morning around 10 am. After an hour and a half, [redacted] stated that all my motor mounts are broken and need to replace. It was going to cost me 703.34.I told [redacted] that's not possible, because I had a 92 Toyota corolla before and that never happened. He stated 3 out of 4 motor mount looks original and the one that was not original looked badly repaired. I had crashed my car a year ago or two and my car insurance took my car in to [redacted] autoshop [redacted] Rd [redacted] CA XXXXX(XXX) XXX-XXXXin which to other repairs, repaired the non-original motor mount. They are the one to refer me to Affordable Automotive for other repairs for non-car insurance repairs. So, I left Affordable Automotive and went straight to [redacted] autoshop. I told [redacted], the owner, [redacted] stated that john's shop did a bad job and his repair is broken now. Three days later on Wednesday, July XX XXXX, [redacted] states nothing was wrong with my car. I wanted a reliable second opinion so I went to Toyota scion in Elk grove. They also stated that there was nothing wrong with my motor mounts.

I would like an apology for the way I was treated. I wanted Revdex.com to inspect there shop and report non-quality of repairs going in and out of the shop. Plus Affordable Automotive has expired and people who don't work there anymore certificates' on their wall. That is very misleading when most customers don't read it, they just see the certifications that they think that's good enough. I have told [redacted] about that and he just laughed.

Company states he has tried calling the customer multiple times and even sent a lengthy text message giving an explanation. Consumer has not responded. He is not sure what else he can do.

I didn't get a text, but I did get several calls. I don't answer calls. I just wanted an apology and for this complaint to be posted for others to see.

He needs to send a letter of apology for how I was treated. I still haven't got that. I think the calls are just harassment.

Hey ka how are you doing this is [redacted] from affordable automotive I'm attempting to contact you in regards to your bad visit to my repair shop I am going to take action against the employees that were involved I've already discussed it with them and the finger pointing began I wanted to get your side of the story so I can take appropriate action to ensure this does not happen again I also wanted to talk to you to assure you that I do not run the shop like that and my guys should not run it like that either fortunately this is the first incident and I wanted to be the last this is why I need your help if for some reason I don't hear from you I want to apologize to you about the way you were treated really I feel embarrassed this is not the way we operate but nevertheless we have to address this.
