Wow these people are rude! They were recommended by my home warranty company I called to have some questions answered Save yourself the headache and go with a different company
My vintage gas range had a safety valve leak ***, who I was told was the owner of Friday Appliance Service, removed the valve on December 29, 2014, and said he usually sent parts off to be rebuilt because they are virtually impossible to find I agreed to this because I had done research on the internet and found two places in California that rebuilt parts for vintage gas ranges and that rebuilding a safety valve would cost $at both places I wrote him a check for $for this service call
*** returned on January 6, 2015, and installed a valve he said he had found in his shop and charged me $ The new valve leaked as well, confirmed by Southwest Gas Corp On January I asked *** to retrieve his valve, refund my money for the part and return my original safety valve He said he would give me a refund, and his exact words were, "I will cut you a check." However, he no longer had my original valve, he had junked it When I asked him why he had done that, he said, "We don't keep garbage like that."
I never got a refund or even a call offering to compromise When I called Friday Appliance Service and spoke to ***, in the office staff, and told her what *** had promised me, she said, "You are not getting a refund."
So, they have my money, their property (the new valve) and *** destroyed my property (the old valve.) And I no longer have a working vintage gas range
