Friday Motors Reviews (3)

We received the letter from the customer and have been in process of contacting the banks involved as well as the credit bureausThe Banks were not responsive to assist us in deleting the "hard" hits, however, we have received directions from all three Credit Bureaus on how to process the removal of these "hits" on Ms [redacted] ' bureauWe are in process of resolution.as history...Ms [redacted] ' grandson authorized us to secure credit approval for a vehicle purchase as stated on his previous purchase contractHe informed our salesperson that he had his grandmother's permission and to proceed as per the previous purchaseWe have his signature on the credit application for this transaction. We will provide additional information as we proceedThank youI have tried to get a hold of [redacted] and get her email address, but have been unsuccessful(leaving voicemails on both phone numbers yesterday and today) I need to have her send a similar letter to all bureaus listed on our letter stating that she wants the same course of action and outcomeThey will not proceed without her permissionIf you can reach her, that would be great

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have investigated this incident and have interviewed the staff members who worked with Mr. [redacted] and have provided the following summary.
Mr. [redacted] brought his 2005 Dodge Neon in to our shop on 12/4/15 for a power steering issue. We performed...

diagnostics and found that the power steering belt tensioner was broken. We advised Mr. [redacted] that the vehicle needed a new drive belt tensioner. We also found that the right front axle shaft and axle shaft seal was leaking. We advised him that the timing belt and water pump should be replaced due to mileage (water pump drives the timing belt) since he was making the repair to the tensioner.
The estimate given to Mr. [redacted] was $1,404.64 after tax. Mr. [redacted] gave authorization to complete the work. Parts were being ordered when Mr. [redacted] came into the shop to go over the bill. Mr. [redacted] asked if he could provide his own parts or he wanted us to “work him a deal”. He was advised that this was the best we price could provide on the parts. He then left.
He opted to get his own parts. He brought in a water pump, timing belt, and drive belt tensioner. We got the axle shaft and seal from a local parts store.
The Service adviser's spoke with the service manager about working on the price for Mr. [redacted]. We lowered the labor rate from $100.00 per hour to $85.00 per hour to help Mr. [redacted] with the expense.
We have no record of Mr. [redacted] ever being quoted a total of $475.00. After adjusting the labor down to the new rate the total bill Mr. [redacted] paid was $879.46
Mr. [redacted] was advised that the vibration he was experiencing with his vehicle has is due to a bad engine mount. Mr. [redacted] was advised to take his business elsewhere because he was verbally abusive to the staff.

of these "hits" on Ms. [redacted]' bureau. We are in process of resolution.as history...Ms. [redacted]' grandson authorized us to secure credit approval for a vehicle purchase as stated on his previous purchase contract. He informed our salesperson that he had his grandmother's permission and to proceed as per the previous purchase. We have his signature on the credit application for this transaction. We will provide additional information as we proceed. Thank you. I have tried to get a hold of [redacted] and get her email address, but have been unsuccessful. (leaving voicemails on both phone numbers  yesterday and today)…I need to have her send a similar letter to all 3 bureaus listed on our letter stating that she wants the same course of action and outcome. They will not proceed without her permission. If you can reach her, that would be great.
