The refund check was issued and mailed on May 6th I apologize that the accounting process does take time I have apologized for the inconvenience that we have caused and we have taken the measures in our office to make sure that it does not happen again

Mrs *** did indeed have an inconvenience in getting a correct prescription for her contact lenses We had some computer problems and the prescription did not print properly Our contact lens technician explained the situation in depth and apologized for the mistake She explained
everything to me and when Mrs *** Came in to return her contacts I myself made sure she had the correct prescription and her refund was processed We can not do a refund in cash because of accounting purposes I will be happy to find out where the refund is in the process and make sure you receive it

I was told that when I returned the contacts on Tuesday, April 8 unopened that I would receive my refund....so they stated they would call me when its ready or mail it.  When I called back to see if a check was ready or had been mailed....I was then told that the office only issues refunds ONCE A MONTH and that I would receive a refund in about 2 weeks maybe 3 weeks. ( which then I thought that was too long and I told them that)Here it is a month later close to a month 1/2 later and I still have not receive my refund of $115.00.  To resolve this I need to get a check for a refund of $115.00 before the end of this week of May 9th.It is not fair that I have returned the product in the same new condition and I have to wait over a month to get a refund back.For them to state that they are checking to see where the refund is at is unacceptable.  The amount of $115.00 is hard to come up with and for me to wait this long to receive my money back is ridiculous.

Review: I had a contact exam there on February 18, 2014. Received my printed out prescription for my contacts the same day to purchase them elsewhere because at the place of business these contacts are too expensive. My prescription the staff gave me was incorrect ( I realized that after I tried to order them myself) I called on February 21 and spoke to someone name Jennifer on the staff and she gave me the supposedly correct BASE CURVE and DIAMETER for the left contact lenses over the phone (The prescription read 8.70 for the BASE CURVE and 14.50 for the DIAMETER....she gave me 8.6 for the BASE CURVE and 14.20 for the DIAMETER.

I still could not order them so then on February 25 I had to drive over there which is a little far from where I live and get a new prescription printed out (This was by another staff member J Horsley) and it stated BASE CURVE 8.6 and DIAMETER 14.20 and when I tried to order...realized again that it was still incorrect.

So finally I told them to order them on April 1 and paid for them in full ( the reason for the time span because I had to wait until I had the money to pay for the contacts because as I stated these were expensive ordering through this place of business)

They came in and I picked them up on April 4 up only to realize that they too had to go in and change the prescription again to order them correctly (They realized that the DIAMETER was still incorrect) I stated someone could have called me and stated "Hi....we realized once again the prescription was wrong and do you still want us to order them or we can now give you the correct prescription so you can order them at a lesser price" No one bothered to give a call.

I told the staff well I could have ordered them much cheaper. I was given a sorry and then I thought and I decided after I returned home to call them and ask for a refund. I did on April 7...they receive the contacts Tuesday, April 8 unopened...no writing on them....no damage and stated I would get a refund. (So I thought in a few days perhaps..but when I called to check then I was told that the Dr only writes refunds ONCE a month instead of doing them individually....of course I wasn't happy with that because I paid a lot for the contacts. So I've called just about every week since I returned them on April 8 to receive a refund....still no call to come pick up a refund check...no mail of a refund check...and here it is April 23 almost the END of the month and I still do not have my refund.

I think every situation regarding a refund is different and the staff /business/ Dr should handle each case accordingly.

I have been a customer of this business for many, many years and I have never had a complaint until now that's why it is so upsetting.Desired Settlement: I need the refund IMMEDIATELY....it has been 3 weeks.

I would really like it in cash now since it has taken so long but if mailing of a refund check....they need to overnight it or something and call me to let me know they have done so.

Yes it took over a month.
