Review: In Nov. 2012 I hired Friend of a Friend Plumbing & Contracting Corp. to gut & completely redo my bathroom. For the most part they did a good job but I had mentioned an issue with the shower that the water wasn't regulating properly, wasn't sure if I just needed to get used to it or if something was wrong with it. A few weeks after I called they came back & replaced the cartridge in the shower body. The next day I called the owner, told him that now there is a banging noise when I turn on the shower. After another few weeks he came back to hear it & he told me that "the noise he hears is normal". I contact both Moen (the manufacturer of the shower body/valve) & Danco (the manufacturer of the replacement cartridge that the contractor used when he changed it out) both agreed that there should not be a banging noise & they both sent me replacement cartridges. I have also spoken with a few other people in regards to this & have been told that I should not be hearing a banging noise. I asked [redacted] that the next time he is on the property (he has done work in a number of units in my complex) that he come to check it out or if he's not going to be on the property for the next few weeks I'd like to schedule a time for after that. I got an email back from him saying "I am sorry to say I can no longer be your contractor or plumber". He also stated "I already replaced one cartridge which was a manufactures defect at no cost which I am not responsible for". When I hired him he assured me that I would be completely happy with the job, there were other issues that came up, some were fixed and some I am living with but I shouldn't have to hear this each time I turn on my shower, it's very upsetting. He purchased & installed everything and now it's not his responsibility? He also assured me that there is a 1 year guarantee on the job but now he won't come back. After much anguish & consideration of his response & not knowing what else to do I am coming to you to help me resolve this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like to say that he should come back and fix the issue but in all honesty I would prefer to have someone else to come in to do the job and he should reimburse me as I no longer feel I can trust him after how he has conducted himself in last 7 or so months.

I have tried over and over to make [redacted] happy. The matter of the banging noise. Obviously a banging noise would be a problem. The problem lies in there is no banging noise. Ihave been doing work for the management company

were she live's and in many others. In all my year's I have never been irresponsible, unfare nor have Iever not made good on any problem.

I truly belleve that It's possible I cant make her happy. Ias a plumber know the paramount Importance of customer service.If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
