Friend With a Truck

4/25/ DODGED A BULLET ON THIS ONE!!!!!!!! We had them schedule to load a truck for a one-way move, today They were suppose to show up between 10:30am - 12:30pm Call owner ( [redacted] ) times that morning and voice mail box was full, so couldn't leave a messageHe finally returned my call @ 1:38pm Said their morning job was taking longer than anticipated They would be at our place in another hour to hour & half No show Tried to call at 4pm, 4:30pm, 4:51pm; text @ 5:15pm; another call @ 5:22pm....no response, no call back Do not use this company

Scheduled a move with [redacted] approximately one month out. The movers never showed and I tried called their listed phone number several times with no answer and a full mailbox so I was unable to leave a message. DO NOT use this company!!! Thankfully another local moving company was able to compete our move 3 hours after we had initially scheduled the move with Friend With a Truck. Due to their lack of professionalism and common curtesy, we were finished moving with the other company at 9:00 PM when we should have been moved in hours before that.

Call owner ([redacted]) 3 times that morning and voice mail box was full, so couldn't leave a message. He finally returned my call @ 1:38pm. Said their morning job was taking longer than anticipated. On approximately April 9th I contacted [redacted],he presented himself as the owner and operator Of Friend with A Truck LLC.I requested an appointment to have furniture moved on April 14th. I informed [redacted] that I wanted the job completed by 1pm,the items I would need moved,and in what manner I wanted my items moved.We agreed with the time slot between 8am and 9am.On the morning of April 14th at approximately 8:30am [redacted] contacted me asking what time the movers were supposed to be there and informed me that he had forgotten about the time and the movers would be there within 45minutes.Multiple phone calls were made between the huors of 9am and 11am between myself,[redacted],and his business partner and organizer of the job, [redacted]. The movers arrived at approximately 11:15am.[redacted] evaluated the move load and told me it would be done promtly and take very little time. Throughout the move myself and two friends moved other items in the apartment while [redacted] and another individual worked on the task they were assigned. My items were taken apart without permission and moved in a manner that I did not feel fit or requested.I informed the movers of the time constraint,that I needed to depart,and they could get payment from my friends.Throughout the job I stated my dissatisfaction.The job was not completed until after 3pm,I returned to the location my furniture was moved to,to find [redacted] and his partner standing idle at the location.I pointed out scratches,cracks,and breakage on all of my furniture I asked the movers to move. They said that the marks weren't a big deal and that I could take care of them easily.I pointed out cracks on all pieces of furniture and I received no repose from [redacted].I requested a discount and was unsatisfied with the total bill.I contacted [redacted], he informed me we would reach an agreement.[redacted] has not returned five of my calls throughout this week,or [redacted].Calling [redacted] he again admitted to damaging the furniture on a later phone call. Since I have received no calls from either partner
