To make a long story short. BBG requires a $250 cleaning deposit to rent within their facilities. The deposit is to be refund within 2-5 weeks after a refund request is submitted. I submitted my refund request one day after the event. It has now been TWO MONTHS and everyone I've emailed has said they've submitted my request but I haven't recieved anything. I've emailed several people who didn't respond at all. And the ones that did respond claim that the refund was submitted. I usually don't write bad reviews, however, I shouldn't have to wait two months or more for a refund deposit that didn't take two months or more for them to receive. I've done everything they've asked me to do but I haven't recieved what I am owed.

We, Birmingham Botanical Gardens just received word that the Consumer's refund check will be processed and mailed on Thursday, October 12th. We cannot explain why it has taken so long for the consumer to get their refund check because it normally does not take this long. However, we are a division of a department and do not issue checks. A refund request has to be audited and approved by two other departments before it can be processed. We are looking into this matter and through a cooperative effort of all parties involved a solution will be found to satisfy our customers. The consumer is correct, a refund should not take this long. Please accept our apology.
