regarding ID # *** please be aware that I have sent the security deposit disposition to the prior residentI offer anyone a walk through of their apartment if they request a walk throughThese individuals handed the keys to me and did not request a walk throughThe lease indicates they may request a walk through once they have removed their belongings and made ready the unit to surrenderOnce the keys are received we have possession of the unitI will be glad to offer pictures of the unit and would sit and talk with them and give them the reasons for these charges if they do not understand the security deposit disposition

Review: I recently moved out of Friendship Heights Apartments. When I called to check the status of my deposit refund, I was told there were deducting $125 for sticker removal, $267 for wear and tear on the carpet, $170 for cleaning of the apartment, and a $50 unknown fee that was advised "they forgot to tell me about". I do not dispute the charge for $125 for sticker removal. However, I do dispute the $170 charge for cleaning, when the entire apartment was wiped down prior to leaving. Also, the $267 for wear and tear on the carpet. There was no major wear and tear on the carpet. When asked why I was not offered a walk through, I was advised that I needed to request the walk through prior to returning keys. The [redacted] advised, once keys are turned in they are not obligated to offer a walk through.I feel I should have been given the opportunity to correct anyting that was not up to Friendship Height's satisfaction.Desired Settlement: Desired Settlement: $170 for cleaning, when the apartment would have to be cleaned prior to new tenant moving in. $267 for wear and tear on the carpet. Also, the $50 unknown charge.
