The grading has been approved by Licking County and adheres to the overall grading plan for *** ***. Mr*** has been informed of this on no less than three occasions. We have been in contact with Mr*** consistently over the past month, including numerous phone
calls and at least ten e-mails. Jim L***Homewood Corp.###-###-#### With this having been said, in the interest of trying to resolve this concern amicably, MrLi*** reached out to Mr*** earlier today (7/12/17) to request permission to evaluate the feasibility and plausibility of performing additional work above and beyond the obligation of the Seller on behalf of the homeowner. (Please see correspondence below.) Shawn: I would like to get your permission to have a contractor come out to your home to evaluate and give me a quote on the attached drainage system. Keep in mind, that I am not offering or agreeing to do this work, but just getting a quote to determine costs. I still maintain that the drainage swale is acting properly and per code, but I understand that concentrated flows of water are not desirable. If we were to move forward with this design, the drain system would be completely private and not maintained by anyone other than the owner of the property. Please let me know as soon as possible so that I may send out the contractor. Jim Li***PresidentHomewood Corp.###-###-####

I'm rejecting L***'s email dated July 5thBUT not rejecting the request for contractor to assess rear yardJim L*** stated in some form of words within email from July 5th "the final grading plan is complete per Licking County approved plans"that is an untrue statement, and I'll place copy email below from *** *** with the Licking County Engineering Department stating "the grading probably DOES NOT meet that shown on grading plan", confirming Homewood Homes did not follow proper completion of grading of Lot #or Lot #*** *** walked the rear yard briefly of Lot #1, and his professional feedback provided from his first visit informs us Jim Li*** is incorrectHomewood Homes failed to follow the final approved grading plan per *** ***

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and will continue to work with
the business to resolution but they have been in touch and are providing quick service to work towards resolution! We are happy with the response so far!

I have half of my paperwork during the building process that says *** Homes and Half that says Homewood Homes ?!! So the customer does not know which company actually built the House ! Do they just play games with the client ? It makes the client believe that they are one in the same ??? Do I need to file this under Homewood or *** ? They mentioned only the master bathroom ? We still have a guest bathroom that has not been completed yet that they have failed to mention ? We need a completion date by march Since we've been waiting since Nov ?!!! This is Horrible customer service Unacceptable that this company is dragging feet ! I have my contract stating that they need to complete the master and guest bathroom This is also very long and many pages but I can drop them off if need be

I just want to be clear that there is now an additional problem along with the original issue I am attaching an image of our garage floor where the adhesive used by the other company who put the threshold in has began to crumble our garage floorOur garage floor was most certainly not crumbling and deteriorating before they put this in. Also, I have not heard anything from this company that was supposed to contact me

Good afternoon. I have spoken to *** *** again about Mrs***'s garage floor, and he will be contacting her directly. Unfortunately, this winter has made it more difficult to complete weather-exposed repairs due to its enduring nature. With that having been said, I also forwarded Mrs***'s picture of her spalling garage floor in the area where the threshold had been installed, and *** said that this will be part of the area which will be replaced, so when he is done, this will not be what the floor looks like any longer. Thank you!

We have sent someone out twice to inspect the foundation and he followed up and scheduled an appointment to meet the homeowner on 8-7-to review her issuesIt does not appear to be a warranty issue for us, but we will verify this on FridayThe homeowner should be contacting *** Barrier
Solutions regarding their year water proof warrantyThank you

Good Afternoon,This is a Homewood Home.  Homewood is under different ownership than [redacted] Home Builders LLC.  That being said, we do share some resources, so I reached out to them for the background on this issue.   Here is a brief summary.  The customers were not happy...

with the color of the tile that was installed in their main and master bathrooms.  It was determined that the tile was in fact, what they had chosen in the Design Center. Homewood agreed to replace the tile anyway.  [redacted] took the lead and showed the customer multiple Dialotts (factory runs) of the same tile.  after many attempts, boxes of tile were chosen by the customer and approved for install.I would include the 3 pages notes from [redacted], documenting this procedure, but it is just too long.Anyway, the plumber returned friday and installed the plumbing fixtures, which were supplied by the customer.  At this time, I believe Homewood is just waiting on [redacted] Manufacturing to schedule a time to install the shower door.thanksjim

I have been advised that an evaluation of the feasibility of remediating the homeowner's water concerns in the swale occurred today, and that a response from Mr. Jim L[redacted] to the homeowner will be forthcoming this coming week.

We had not heard anything from the buyer since 2012 about the basement water. We will have the warranty department contact them and get someone out to determine the issue and resolve it.

The warranty department is reaching to schedule a time to review their concerns.

I have been advised by the electrician responsible for installing the post light that he has communicated with the homeowner and that an installation date for the post light has now been scheduled.

I am rejecting this response because: Maybe the leak is...

fixed at this point it hasn't rained hard from the south. The company has told me as much. They admit the floor has yet to be repaired. The matter cannot be closed until all the work is done. The original complaint was the companies inability to cover damage caused by a warranted item. To date all items are not resolved

On Jul 13, 2016, at 11:03 AM, Warranty Email <[redacted]> wrote:[redacted]We believe the leak has been located and repaired. Can you keep an eye on it next few rains to confirm. Once we are sure we will take care of your floor issues.Thank youMark W[redacted]

On Thursday June 16, 2016  I visited with Mrs. [redacted]. I agreed we would regrade and sod her rear swale. I believe she is happy with that decision.Thank you

Sorry I wasn't sure about looking into my junk mail... sorry for delay of my return...

email. The installation was cancelled twice, and finally installed after 3rd attempt on 9/19/17. The installer just kept cancelling then installed the light post unleveled & installer was unpleasant to work with on-site. Another unpleasant experience in the hands of Homewood Homes scheduling a responsible contractor. This contractor has many more homes to complete within the neighborhood as well.

To Whom It May Concern,On 3/13/17, the complaint below was forwarded to the builder via the BIA:3.13.17 Message from consumer regarding Homewood Homes and subcontractor [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:    We picked out the new tile on Jan 4 2017 and this was delivered and installed ( in the master shower only not in guest shower )   a few weeks later in January and this is the FIRST time I'm hearing of this !!!!  [redacted] never once communicated this information to me !! Not in January , not in February , not in their first response to the Revdex.com!!!!! Strange that they never communicated this to the customer ? Not once ? Kevin installed the tile in master in the middle of January but not one person from [redacted] mentioned the tile was from the same lot ?!!!  IF this were true , this would have been their first response to me . They would have contacted me immediately!!!!!! I wonder why this was never brought to my attention until after the Revdex.com claim ?? Horrible customer serivice ... just string your clients along and take your good ole time . Especially a client who was waiting for their bathrooms since closing on their brand new house Nov 21,2016.  IF this is a FACT ? I'm not sure how true this story is ?  For this reason alone [redacted] deserves an F rating with the Revdex.com .  No wonder they have such horrible reviews on social media . Even If this batch was ordered from the same factory lot # . I spoke to [redacted] from [redacted] Tile and he explained that this particular tile is made at 4 different locations across the U.S .  He said you can order two batches of the  same tile from one factory and they will be slightly off in color.  You have to use all the tile from the same batch to get a really good color match . [redacted] explained to me that many things affect the tile color ... the time of year the tile is baked and weather conditions when the tile is baked . This why you can have two different tiles from the same factory lot . This is why [redacted] text me that he was waiting on all of these new batches of tiles to be shipped in January 2017 . The tile in my guest bath was installed in the first week of dec 2016. The tile in my master and sitting in my garage is the new tile form Jan 2017 . Upon our receipt of this complaint, we forwarded the message to [redacted] and received the following correspondence, with pertinent correspondence from [redacted] at [redacted]tile, who appears to suggest that the complainant has twisted his words and taken them out of context.

To Whom It May Concern,We sincerely regret the delay that the homeowner has experienced in having their service concerns evaluated and addressed.  Unfortunately, our sales manager has been incapacitated for an extended period of time due to significant health considerations and while this does...

not excuse the lack of promptitude that the homeowner experienced with regard to receiving warranty service, his prolonged absence compromised the Warranty Department's ability to address these concerns in a more timely manner.  Again, we regret that this has been the case and hope to rectify this situation in very short order. As of today, I have been advised by [redacted] that an appointment has been scheduled with the homeowner to address their garage door concern, and their attention to this issue may also resolve a potentially related concern related to the garage floor.  Additionally, our roofing subcontractor advised me this morning that a roofing repair service technician was being dispatched to this home this afternoon to begin work on the homeowner's roofing issues and while I cannot definitively say that I have first-hand knowledge that this occurred, I was assured by the roofing subcontractor that they have this work order and understand that it is imperative that the work is completed in short order.  Finally, I did speak to our [redacted] representative and while it would seem arguable that some of the homeowner's more recent flooring-related concerns (specifically seam concerns and floor-squeak concerns) were brought to the attention of the flooring subcontractor after the expiration of the one-year coverage provided by their flooring warranty, we have authorized the flooring subcontractor to schedule an appointment to address these concerns on the homeowner's behalf as an expression of our sincere regret that the other aforementioned issues were not addressed sooner.Tommy J[redacted]
