I have contacted the customer by phone on numerous occassions and have never recieved a call backI am a business owner and I work long hours so speaking directly to a customer is the most effective way for me to speak to the customer and resolve issuesThe customer opted to purchase his own material and because of that I was short on material which caused a delay in the completion of his beautifully tiled basement.(area unfinished was a 6xsq ftarea) He was unable to wait for me to come back (less then hours) and decided to complete the work himselfI encourage customers at the time of the initial quote to allow me to purchase material needed for the jobI have years of experience and know what materials are needed I offered to come out and do touch up work and never recieved a responseThe customer never made any mention of the issues with the drain for daysIn the years I have owned my own business I have found that most people discuss issues with prices before a job begins and not two weeks after the job endsThe 2nd quote I gave the customer prior to starting the work clearly explained the price break down and I explained why labor price went up and he agreed to my rates The pictures of the drain do not accurately depict what the drain looked like on the last day I was thereI personally cleaned up the area and his pictures actually clearly show my levelers pathIt appears MrJones did the damage to his drain when he decided to finish the basement tile work himself This customer has an absolutely beautiful basement and the tile work is extraordinary The reasons he has given for a partial refund are all issues that have nothing to do with the work that was done by Frisella Flooring therefore we are dismissing his requestI have submitted pictures of the work I did on this customers basement and I think the pictures speak for themself.

It is clear by his recent response that he is untruthful and has no desire to accept responsibility for his poor work performance, his poor customer service, and for clogging my drain.  I submitted, as evidence, his voice mail that he left on 11/17/16 and his final contact to me...

on 11/18/16 where he threatens to sue me for defamation and further states that I have concocted the whole "drain issue". Since his email on 11/18/16 which was his last contact attempt, I have emailed him a total of 3 times.  One email was the immediate response I sent him on 11/18/16, the next was the email I sent on 11/23/16 where I included photos of the leveler that was pulled from the drain and the plumber's quote showing that he clogged my drain with floor leveler and that the full extent of the clog was unknown, and the third was the email sent on 11/28/16 notifying him that I had not heard from him regarding my 11/23/16 email and that I would be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. He was informed, in writing, that we would not be communicating via telephone due to issues with his integrity and because I did not want to get into a he-said/he-said situation.  He refuses to communicate in writing because it leaves a record of what was communicated and leaves him with no way of backing out and claiming that he didn't say it or that his intent was misunderstood. I think that it is important for the Revdex.com to know what this Revdex.com accredited business really stands for, the poor quality of their work, their refusal to stand by their work and accept responsibility for work completed to include damage done to the owner's premises and lastly how they treat their customers when there are issues. I encourage  customers at the time of the initial quote to allow me to purchase material needed for the job.
