FROGGYS CAR WASH

Today I took my car for its weekly cleaning and since I'm not in Maryland to get it washed where I usually get it washed I decided to take it to froggysWhen I went in I did not have any scratches or dents on my brand new Scion tC that I am the only owner and only driver ofWhen I was pulling out I noticed the rather large dent and scratchesI asked to speak to the manager and he would not give me any insurance information nor any information to contact an ownerHe even said "this is getting funny" and tried taking a pictureOne of his workers even said "it was probably something inside the wash they just don't want to pay for it" I will never be getting my car washed there and I advice all of my friends and family to do the same

***This is a follow up to our phone conversation earlier today. I am owner of Froggy’s Car Wash and Black Tie Detailing at Wooster Pike and wish to respond to the complaint filed by *** *** I have attached three photos…two are of the dent in his car that he claims happened in our
washThe third was taken from his facebook profile and was posted there on 8/17/16. First, he claims that when he entered our wash, he “did not have any scratches or dents on my BRAND NEW Scion tC”The third photo shows that he had this car at least since August of this year and claims in is “brand new” almost months laterSecond, in addition to the dent he claims we made, he in fact did have a few marks on his bumper when we looked at. Froggy’s uses only soft brushes and nothing impacts the car in any wayNothing in our wash touches the car expect brushesThe only time one can even feel the car being washed is when the wheel brushes engageThis person had a large dent on the rear, drivers side fender, with white paint transferred onto his car from whatever he hit, or hit himWe have nothing in our wash that could have transferred paint onto his vehicleWe walked him through the wash, showed him how it operated and tried to reason with him that the wash could not have caused this dent, nothing in there has white paint on it, and to create a dent like that, he would have felt an impactIn fact, we pointed out that even if we did have something caught in a brush and it dented a car, it wouldn’t just happen to one… it would damage every car it touchedNo other vehicles had any damage before or after his carHe would not acknowledge any of this as possible, and simply became even more verbally and finally, physically abusive to members of our team before we asked him to leave the premises. He claims he was denied access to the owner… that is meI was there when this happened, walked out to the car, took a look and said “for sure, there is no way that happened here, it is clearly a parking lot, or similar incident” , I then walked awayWe explained that while something indeed hit his car, that we don’t provide our insurance information since this was not an auto accident… it would apply to our liability insurance policy and if he wanted to file a claim through his insurance, they would then have access to our insurance. This young “man” just continued to deny or consider anything else could have happenedWhen we did take the pictures above so that we would have some proof of the damage in the event of legal action, he became physically violent and tried to hit my manager while he was snapping picturesI did not include the one where it shows him coming after my mangerAt that point we told him to leave or we would call the police. The pictures of the damage above prove my pointOne is enlarged so that you can see clearly the paint transfer on his bumper and even better, on the seam of the fender and bumperWe feel badly that he believes we did this, but we did not and we cannot assume responsibility for it.
