From The Ground Up Contracting

Complaint[redacted] was hired to remove carpet put down [redacted] flooring! He was taking forever to complete job and he kept blaming his poor flooring job on [redacted]! When I saw problems wit his work , I contacted [redacted] spoke with manager [redacted] he asked me if he could come out and see the job. I told him he could and when he came out, he said "[redacted] would not Stand behind any issues with flooring as it was not installed per directions on box". [redacted] came back upset very upset and later walked off job!!! He was paid in full $5,750.00 for this job he and wife did! I am seeking the amount to hire someone else to redo the flooring !! I bought All the material which some he took with him! He went to [redacted] and lied about flooring being defective and Manager [redacted] gave him apps. 4 boxes just to get him out of the store!i purchased the flooring totaling 1,520.47 (29 boxes) molding-104.90,7rolls moisture barrier-117.39 then an additional flooring next day totaling $1,245.16 for more boxes of flooring.He and his wife charged me $3.00 per sq ft. (980sq.ft) flooring-$3,700.00 which included per her bill1,000 sq ft shoe molding which I purchased.Then charged me $3,000.00 to paint total sq ft 1200,the charged me $100.00 per color of paint! The paint job was unsatisfactory and I hired a professional painter to repainted where [redacted], wife and 2 friends helped paint! I also had to clean up messes they left! I am asking he pay me for flooring material total flooring amount 2,870.53. I am also filing a complaint with [redacted] as well as [redacted].Desired SettlementReimburse me for the flooring materials rounded off to 3,000.00 as I have receipts to show where I purchases flooring materials.
